Let’s be real tho we lost our most consistent forward and a winger

Well, most consistent forward anyway.

Russ I know how fond you are of Jennings as a player, but last night he was doing rather well than some of his previous displays..

I know, all credit to him. He was only sub standard, instead of pathetic.

Didn’t do a thing wrong until his injury. I know you don’t like the bloke but cmon now ?

Scored a try, I know, but once again no one in front of him and then he injured himself without any one touching him.

When Mbye made the break following Nofo's brilliant pass, he had Lucy backing up on the ouside (he dummied to him), had Brooks backing up on the inside (he passed to him) and he scored.

Point being....Where was the "Bludger"?

I'll tell you!!!!! Jogging along behind the play..."He is kidding isn't he?"

If he wasn't injured you would drop him for that alone!

Whilst he was on the field, he did no more than be average - I am not going to give him a wrap for being sub standard or at a real stretch average.

Again, sub standard just ain’t true. I don’t care for the bloke but he did his job well. Ran the ball from our own end good, scored a try, didn’t drop one. He’s an average player but he did his job.

Pretty funny that he got injured scoring though only he could manage that ?

When Mbye made the break Jennings stopped for a pie ?

If he had of supported he may have got a meat pie, instead Brooks got it.

He’s a garbage player ..
Slower than a wet week
Turning circle of a cruise ship
Runs 6 meters in 3 years and blows a hammy ?

He’s not that bad. He got in a good position to score the try. He’s a big boy and can find the try line

If Madge persists on playing him he needs to be in the forwards .
Not fast or athletic enough to be a winger.

Reynolds to Drinkwater - try etc

That happens sometimes. Even the commentators said Garner was over if the intercept wasn't taken. That can't overshadow the good things he did.

I doubt there's a ball player in the game who hasn't thrown an intercept. Basically any face ball is a risk.

I’ve been pretty peeved off last few weeks. Last night was a great performance. First half was outstanding. 2nd was disappointing but not without valid reason - losing 3 from the 17 is hard to address mid game. Especially losing two middle men. Overall a great win. Hope the injuries are minimal and really hope we don’t revert to old cultural norms next weekend. Cmon Tigers, turn the corner and smash the bulldogs next weekend!

My biggest issue with Reynolds, is things like when Brooks was tackled and played the ball on the 5th tackle during the 1st half. We had 2 forwards put on a play on the last, this is when you need your 2nd playmaker and most experienced player to step in and demand the ball. These sorts of things happen too often with Reynolds, he is not there when he should be, if it was a one off then fair enough but it is not a one off.

Mbye had a decent game, has always been solid in defence in the centres but looked good in attack showed some speed and good passing. Maybe last year was just the fact he was so interrupted with injury he could never find his feet. We are still paying him far too much but thats hardly his fault.

Mate I was in absolute agreement with Madge dropping benji as his defence was terrible. But maybe this week having Benji at 6 could be lethal in attack against bulldogs defence. But if so his defence must be better. My fear for Benji is he has reached the age where he is not prepared to throw his body in front of runners.

I'm looking for more from a 5/8th than defense though, he gives good line speed and that worked well for us last night. As I said last night in the first half when didn't have to build anything because as soon as we were in position the Cowboys defense just disappeared. In the second half they tightened up their defense and we asked them no questions at all and built no pressure. You know me, I'm usually the positive one telling you its not too bad, so I am not one of those negative posters lol.

I’ve been very negative and I believe it’s deserved. Bulldogs clash will determine whether we have in fact started to address cultural problems. We lose next week and they’ll be slot of wrist slitting. After Titans game I took my jersey off and threw it off my verandah - it stayed out in the rain and muck for 24 hours (I’m an idiot I know!!). Jersey back in cupboard but if we lose next week ....

I actually think brooks has made huge strides defensively over the years. And while we scream for him to.be a better finisher the rest of his game has come along way. I honestly don't think he will be the superstar everyone wants but i think he would be an awesome second opition. Problem being we really don't have a first opition atm.

I reckon he’s the best defensive 7 in the comp.

mine was I threw my members pass onto the sideline during a tigers broncos game where Moltzen wouldn't go for bombs.....thankfully my throw was rubbish and it hit the siding

I once threw my jersey at the team at ANZ ..Brett Hodgson caught it and in one motion threw it back at me ..
Embarrassing !

Reynolds over benji for me atm, just cause of the defense and pressure

like if he kicks on the 4th into there territory, he is usually the 1st down there to tackle the player- pinning them inside 10
