I actually think brooks has made huge strides defensively over the years. And while we scream for him to.be a better finisher the rest of his game has come along way. I honestly don't think he will be the superstar everyone wants but i think he would be an awesome second opition. Problem being we really don't have a first opition atm.

I reckon he’s the best defensive 7 in the comp.

He's up there for attack too

we know you hate JR but it gets a bit monotonous every week,at least he has a go and Brooks has played better with him in the side...

Honestly Hobs,we have no one better to call on except Benji and Grub for the 5/8 position,JR hasn't played for ages and Benji is a defensive liability...at least Brooks is playing better in the last 2 weeks with JR in the side,Mbye was another who was bad mouthed by many on here and he played very well against the Cows...he is getting better every week now he is over his injury...

But that's your opinion....he may have been doing exactly what Madge wanted,he dropped a kick off,Twal got them another set of six through stupidity,they all make mistakes and get flustered at times...have a look at Tamalolo for the Cows the captain and leader and drops a pass cold after 23 seconds...

I still think Benji offers more in attack than Reynolds but in defence he’s poor .
I bagged Mbye last night ..his 2nd half effort in defence was puss imo .
Brooks has avoided the bat by playing better the last 2 games for sure .
Then after the Dogs game we have a tough run in the Panthers and Souths .
So we’ll have to see what Madge does .

Not really mate,when your centre is caught out of position or is elsewhere,all of a sudden you have 2 sq metres and some strong blokes running at you,...try to be fair in your summation of games champ,I know you are a hard taskmaster when it comes to the Tiges...

I thought Reynolds was solid without being a game changer or having a huge influence on the game.

However my biggest concern with his defence is how he rushes out of the line so aggressively. Worked ok against the Cows but they don’t have an experienced halves combination.

If he tries that against the better halves in the competition I can see them charging straight at him, drawing and passing into a hole outside. It worked ok this week but I hope he has the game smarts to pick and choose when he does it because from what I saw it seems that strategy is his first, second and third choice when defending.
