The thing I like about this team is we're just as likely to come out next week and touch up the Eagles. I mean, who would have thought the Wallabies would beat the All Blacks?

When the talk of semis and this mob combine I just know it ain't gonna happen. The old man who is old school Balmain was up for it but me being a Pie knew what was gonna transpire, yep another inept performance against a crap side who would beat us 10 out of 10 times.

Yes he gave away the penalty but that was soft defence for those two tries. The intercept he threw was not great to see but few inches higher and we score in the corner.

We have no second row forwards except for Matterson. Rowdy should be offered a job with WTs at the end of the year. MCK is a utility best utilised from the interchange. Garner needs to improve. Our backs are slow except for Brooks and Thompson. We need a fast fullback, wingers and a centre.

@Tiger_Steve happy with the effort most games mate it sucks we dont have the talent. As to the rest i think we are moving forward we took a hit last year and now we have taken a few steps back. TBH we are overachieving imo. We have the worst roster in the nrl at the current moment. thats not on our board they gave cleary full responsibility. Which at the time i was for in hindsight it sucks.

It was 2 try assists for the dogs from Benji, the first one was a 5th tackle penalty in the dogs half, they scored a few tackles later

I really think that Madge has done great with what we have left. And anyone that says different is kidding themselves.
I very much doubt that we will make the 8 and that’s disappointing but we do have a good solid foundation and the attitude is growing.
I’m kind of looking forward to next season or two to see how we further develop under this stile of coaching.

I used the NRL ladder predictor and stayed as unbiased as possible. Gave us a loss to the Eagles (doubt we could beat them) and kept all my predictions rational. We can still make the 8 with one more loss if results go our way. If we win all our games, mathematically we are in it. I'm one of those hopeful one. It usually bites me in the behind, but I'll stay hopeful.
