**Live game thread** Us vs the Dragons

Once again we had the opportunity to put a hack team to the sword , but turn it into a game of park footy …
Frustrating !

well that's it, sitting at 10th spot, equal 9th with a -74 for and against.

Not enough composure in attack, but I guess after the week that we've had, should be thankful for a win.

Glad we won, but geez they should've won by way more. For and against is vital, especially with our dodgy goal kicking. A great opportunity to rack up the points was squandered by dopey plays in that second half.

Saints couldn't score in a brothel, they are a woeful team in attack

We are dam lucky we played them today and not a better team

In saying that, Moses played his best game of his career, he is growing more every week.

Great win by the boys… We were down 2 players for much of the game and our goal line defence and scramble was superb... Hopefully this game sends a clear message:

time for Farah to accept his fate and either stay in reserve grade or fi d another club.
Despite the barb about our defence, it was very good today
The players do play for JT

Lovett shouldn't be in first grade with the squad that we have.

Don't stress Steve…Taylor acts on under performing players like Farah.
Lovett should be in Reserves next week.

I think it's pretty obvious that we have a good squad with a dud coach. I can't wait until he goes. We'd be so much better without that muppet having any input at all into our team.

That was a pretty poor second half.
I can understand wanting to grind it out, but gee we had several chances to step on their throats and kill the game off. Taking the two, Lovett's bombed try amongst others.
Good to get the win, but that was a lot closer than it should have been.

I'm not sure our defence was all that - 33 missed tackles. Our scramble was immense again, so the attitude is there, which is very important.
Whatever you think about this JT vs Farah nonsense, the rest of the squad are clearly well engaged and playing for each other and their coach.

I reckon there were a couple of key points:-

1\. Moses. How good was he.
2\. Aloiai. He was good as well.
3\. Halatau. He was great at dummy half. I rate the guy but he was really good.
4\. Based on point 3 Robbie definitely is overpaid. Dene offers a pretty similar game for us at probably a 1/4 of the cost.
5\. Taylor is a dud coach and his selections are terrible. Lovett shouldn't have been there. Edwards shouldn't have been there. Robbie should have been there simply because we are a better team with him on the park.

Ain't that the truth, he moves half the side around to have Rankin at dummy half, which left Lovett in the centres, and Simona at wing, what a terrible coaching move that was, if he thinks that is giving us our best chance at winning, sack him now.
No one can be happy with that effort, if we played any other team including the knights we would have lost today, that was really poor, just lucky saints don't know how to score points.

Wests Tigers didn't have any hookers.

You must be kidding, saints are awful, this proves nothing, and as for the playing for JT thing, you must be trolling.
