TBH that was a high quality game. Strong performance by the Tigers. We lost the game due to a total mismatch at centre ( Mitchell vs Marsters), Henry Perenara and poor goal kicking.
We are travelling better than advertised.

Just back from the game and I thought that was close to our best effort all year. They really had a dig and the Chooks will be sore in the morning.

Goal kicking, lack of speed, some very questionable calls, Latrell and Farah third tackle kick cost us the game.

I just can’t understand why Liddle was kept out of the game for so long. Surely he should be getting a run at the back end of the first half when the Chooks were walking

@supercoach MaGuire hasn't been giving Liddle much game time all year. There must be a reason. Doesn't think he's up to it perhaps, or thinks Robbie is too valuable to have off-field?

Can we sign Matterson for life? It’s criminal that he’s not wearing a Blues jumper. Tariq Sims couldn’t tie his shoelaces.

Good effort by the boys but just not enough polish to match the big teams.

Turning point for me was after we went 8 up in the second half and Robbie kicked on the third with no chance of a 40-20 and only Chee Kam chasing, roosters scored that set. We started the second half with great momentum and that play swung it completely.

From there we just didn’t have enough to bring it back.


And then they played ohh so well when Farah went off yeah lol

We came back out of the sheds pumped and had the ascendancy well in hand until that "what the he'll is he doing, Benji on the 3rd of a seven tackle set last time and now this crap" kick. We then got to chat about it in the stands whilst the chooks were back slapping each other in our in-goal area.

Robbie was running around okay at that point, having had a rest during the break, but he should have been replaced at least 10 minutes before halftime for mine. I find it hard to understand the way the coach normally rotates our nines.

Really impressed with the boys we took on a class team and they had to play class footy to beat us.
