I think with our current crop of players he is, apart from Matterson nobody outplays him I don’t think. In saying that moving forward I’d be happy to have a quality pack that pushes him back to the bench as an impact player.

I am done. I’ve been a proud supporter win ,loss or draw and always looked on the positives. But sadly there is nothing more to look fwd too with this club. Doesn’t matter who we bring here, despite what people say on here we have bought quality footballers to this club yet we are still a rubbish team. New coach, no injuries, new home ground, decent signings, same pathetic results. I’ve had enough.

I am a huge Rowdy fan but he honestly needs 2-3 weeks in reserve grade before he comes back into 1st Grade. He looked a shadow of himself in terms of contact (and I am not even thinking about the dropped balls). Think he needs a good month in reserves. Sounds like a hell of an injury and his confidence would rightfully be down.

A bad offload for the Croker try and Sezer intercept. Our defence was good.

The difference was we walked to the line and got bashed they won the game with relentless defence and we had no will to win this game .

The ball was not bouncing our way tonight but we were dominated. This game showed exactly what our issue is.

Lack of go forward and no impact running the ball. Backs easy pickings to get smashed.
Madge knows what he is doing this is a complete roster overhaul job.

Yeah mate totally agree and maybe wasn’t clear in my post, I’m more looking at the future of our pack, Rowdy is definitely a bit off the pace after his layoff but still one of only a few I would keep in our pack.

Not a great night, but we've had worse. Our deficiencies are obvious and have been for a long time. Matto, Aloiai, Mikaeli, Nofa and Thommo I thought all tried to make it work, but when things don't go your way ie. refs decisions, the bounce of the ball and luck there's not much you can do. Makes for some pretty rough viewing.

We need one marquee signing to set the ball rolling
Remember when Souths were a basket case then they signed Inglis ...
Won a Comp and been competing well ever since ( except there last 2 games)

Correct. And the knob who said he wasn't prepared to let another season slide back in 2017 and over saw all these signings is still in charge. He also stuffed our cap for 2 years but fans seen to think he's a genius.
