I'm still dirty - But the weird thing is....
Outside not getting 2 points, It still kinda feels like a win.

I'd rather loose by getting robbed,
Than to dish up garbage with no passion and get thumped.

Yea I’m alright this morning .
Broadly speaking the nrl has a real issue with Ashley Klein . IMO he’s the Luke brooks of refereeing.
Does most things alright but he has 2 absolute clangers in every match.
I was thinking about it this morning , and whilst I don’t think he’s a cheat , I do think he has a real issue with the way he interprets the information being presented to him . It’s almost like a holistic colourblind, if that makes sense .
I personally think the Suttons are the issue , and the way all that generation view games , and we’re told to officiate .
Badger , Harrigan , the homosexual one ( I don’t mean to describe him that way , I just remember I agreed with his philosophy and always thought he was fair , and it’s the only thing I can remember about him as a descriptor) , they all came out about 5 years ago having a real go wi the the way the nrl and in particular annelsey and Sutton wanted to officiate games .
Gould came out around the same time as well , with similar ideas .
The meltdown around moving to 1 ref ? Their union got involved remember ?
There’s a stench around him , and to me he’s a protected species . We can speculate as to why , but at the very least , the way he views the game has to be looked at. St the very least it’s influencing the next generation in a negative way .
 
The Herald can reveal the Tigers have emailed the NRL to request a transcript of the conversation between the Bunker and referee, as well as the official game clock log. The club is also in conversations with senior barristers about its options.

I don't feel like that at all. This feels like Roosters 2010, Balmain 1989, Broncos 2018. Games I can never forgive or forget, because the officials intervened to take control of a match away from the players.

I can, eventually, cop any game where we made the mistake, we failed to hold the win, or when a decision is 50/50. And I can recognise any match where we might, rarely, jag an undeserved win.

But a match where the officials intervene to hand a lifeline to the opponent? I'll never fully get over it.

BTW Roosters is because of that scrum, when JWH dropped the ball, and it should have been a Tigers play on anyway because Heighington picked up the loose ball and ran off. 1989 is the Bill Harrigan decision to penalise Bruce McGuire for using Steve Walters as an offensive shephard (a rule I've never seen called again). 2018 was the BS penalty to give Isaako the penalty, similar position to Holmes yesterday.

BTW 2018 was Ashley Klein again.

You are correct each whistle sounds different. And a full time whistle wasn’t blown. However the ref has blown a whistle for no reason and they are trying to make up a reason it was blown. That’s the issue

Mate, I'm a Tigers fan - who was at a club function at that game.
It was Dwyer, Not Heighington....
And he was lucky not to be charged with a Shoulder to the head....
I was happy to get away without a penalty

Heigno was the one doping a little dance over the ball instead of picking it up.
Totally different to yesterday.

100000000% agree , Simon Dwyer ironed out JWH , ball comes loose , play on. 45 seconds to go , I think, We know the rest . I actually think there’s donkeys out there that think there smarter than us , and we can’t pick up on subtle little things . I got news for the donkeys , enjoy your freedom while it lasts, the Long Bay Loggers are looking for touchies, strappers and head physicians .

Did Dwyer pick it up? OK

It's not different to yesterday at all. The referee permitted the Dwyer tackle, and we have to remember it was judged under the tackling conventions of 2010, which are obviously not only more than a decade ago, but from a time before concussion protocols existed and before the true nature of repeated head-knocks was better understood.

JWH drops the footy and Tigers play on. Referee calls a scrum. Should have been no scrum because there was only a single infringement (JWH loses the football).

It is then open to huge debate whether the Roosters are permitted to push in the scrum and the timing of the attempt to feed by the halfback.

Then there is the failure to police Frank Paul N from breaking early from the scrum and diving through the maul onto the football, which I believe is still illegal (the ball must completely exist the scrum before you contest it, and only the attacking lock can control the final exit of the football - props and second row cannot).

Only then does Heighington stand there like a gawking moron and fail to dive on the football.

It's a series of 3 referee errors that permit a situation where Heighno has failed to dive on the footy, and we can all acknowledge he should have done so, but he also should not have been left in such a position.

The refs froze and panicked.

As I said, it's rare that you can very very strongly point to a referee's decision as basically the sole cause of a bad loss.

But I will say in each of the Raiders and Roosters games, at least Tigers did still have the opportunity to defend the decision, even if they failed to do so.

The Broncos and now Cowboys ones - you have no opportunity. The ball and the defensive capacity is taken out of your hands, gifted to the opposition, and you can only stand there and watch in dismay.

And even then, in the Broncos game, I will concede that technically Robbie Rochow was not square, and it's more a question of consistency of ruling, especially during GP, rather than an attempt to claim that Rochow was in fact on side.

Cowboys, not only do I vehemently disagree with the escort ruling, it's the entire mechanism for providing that ruling that makes it arguably the worst, with no capacity to challenge or dispute or defend.

Id also be requesting the audio. Any transcript given would be subject to NRL writing it. We already know they are in damage control and covering their arses mode. DONT TRUST THEM. Audio would allow WT to hear what was said by parties and match with transcript.
 
There is only one way to address the wrongs committed yesterday against Wests Tigers :
1) NRL to acknowledge the blatant errors made by game officials in the conclusion of the game
2) Reverse the illegitimate result by awarding the match to the Tigers and restore their stolen two competition points.
3) Stand down all those match officials for the remainder of the season including the finals series.
4) Withdraw the bullshit excuses about fulltime whistles/ Captain's challenges etc and JUST ACCEPT THE NRL IS WRONG about this.
The real integrity of the Game is what is at stake here!
