Usually, I hate to attack refs. It's cocky and it takes away from the negatives a side exhibits by blaming it on a third party. But tonight, I found them absolutely atrocious. There were penalties that just didn't happen in that game. There were forward passes that weren't called despite the fact that you'd have to be blind to miss them (speaking of which, has anyone else seen the blind tigers supporter at Leichhardt oval who listens to it on the radio and spends the night yelling "you refs are blinder than me!" Don't know why he's relevant but he always makes me laugh). A penalty ratio that was completely and totally undeserved. Either they felt guilty for sending Sam Burgess off, or its true that Souths are a protected species.
