any injuries?

Hopefully Godinet and Benji, then we we might be a chance next week

Personally didn’t see too much wrong with Benji, his defense was a bit rocks and diamond.

Just tell him to control the early kicks and pick his timing better.

Love his intensity with his defence first one of the line along with Lawrence.

Yeah, if you took away the howler of giving it to a tired front rower on the last tackle in the dying minutes, then he may get a pass mark, but that was diabolical.

Lets face it….we had a lucky start....got Melbourne twice at the right time....they would put 50 on us now.....parra were crap manly are a rabble the chooks were rusty in Rnd1
Now things are settling down clearys dudd buys are being found out

Beat Melbourne away from home in 2 milestone games. If you don't think they're big achievements go follow another team.

In fact do us all a favor and follow another team.

You would NOT have a clue - living up to your name I'd say.

as usual, year after year, refs are strongly biased against WT :deadhorse:
They gave (the bad guys) penalties whenever they need it.
We lost 3 games by only 2 points, some fans with 2 nano seconds attention span,.
forgot when we lost a game it was by more than 20 points, game after game.
Thompson was again our best player, and by miles our best player,Lolohea is so far behind
that is not funny.
Fonua, Marsters, Grant, and Naiqama played very well.
Chee-Kam, Marshall and **Lawrence** were **rocks and diamonds.**
IMHO, Liddle should be given more time.
Go Tigers :sign:

Are you serious?????

I thought Benji was pretty good. His missed tackle was poor but he was good defensively apart from that. He often led the defence and made the tackle.

…..but in benji he "trusts" ...lmao !

The thing that struck me today was that there was no organisation. Brooks has to decide to be the organiser or leave it all to Benji.

Given that our games are going to be close, either Brooks or Benji has to start thinking percentage plays. And that means no Benji razzle-dazzle from our own half or Chee-Kam's low percentage pass to Nofo in our own half. Start playing like it is a grand final each week - percentage plays but if inside the oppositions 25 then let's see some razzle dazzle and good 5th tackle options.

We can’t blame the refs

That loss was due to the fact Parramatta played better, we couldn’t hold onto the ball and that’s what cost us

Let’s just hope the boys hold onto the ball and discipline themselves with penialites against NZ and with a few players coming back we can win

At least we know that more than likely we will be in it up to our armpits with 10 to go :sign:

This is the comp evening out, I don't even think the "worst" teams in the comp are that bad - almost anyone can beat anyone else every week, just depends on some luck and good decisions.

Tigers have won 3 games by 2 or less and now lost 3 games by 2\. The upside is obviously that we are in every match until the final whistle and we've done a decent job at winning the close ones. This week and last week are testing our consistency and depth, and frankly we've come up just a tad short, but a bounce here or there and we win both of these two games.

Tigers just have to keep rolling up, keep playing this style of footy an, injury gods willing, we should win more than half our games.

This evening specifically, just really disappointed to lose to Parra. I thought we played ok, fairly patchy, and unlike earlier in the season we have had two weeks where we couldn't defend our mistakes.

Defence overall still pretty good, I thought we handled Parra quite well despite 4 tries, 1 of which was a 1-1 kick, 1 speccy offload and 2 blatant forward passes that get called back in another week. Parra had a lot of ball in our end which we turned away quite well.

I was impressed by the intensity at times, scoring after the Mannah error and the big defensive set after Eels scored, to get the ball back in good position. Obviously though our lower completion rate and also the position in which ball is being given back, esp 4th and 5th tackle penalties, hurts.

Most teams have warmed up now, 8 rounds, you aren't going to surprise anyone anymore.

But we are still firmly in Top 8 and just one win off the second-placers. Tight comp this yr.

I rarely look at the penalty count, but instead look at where on the field the penalties are given. Most of them were when we had them on the ropes in their own half and gave them an easy ride out. I counted 2 on the 5th tackle…could have been more.

We just didn't apply pressure long enough to come away with that game.

Warriors next week and a gaggle of teams on 8 points ready to swamp us.
Step it up boys.

X2

Apart from the Dragons, a gaggle of teams ready to swamp all teams. We've beaten Storm twice this year and they've only had 3 losses total. They'd be ruing those games too. Sharks, Rabbits, Roosters, Broncos all 4-4, and they are decent to good sides.

I think this year is going to be about 3-game streaks. You need to try and win 2 of every 3, not get on losing streaks worse than 3\. You need 13 wins to make the 8, so Dragons are only 6 short, everyone else has looked shaky at times.
