Is becoming obvious why Lolo was not playing in the halves for the warriors

First game. He's not the problem out there. Lovett is playing is usual game, the backline has no flow and our defence is awful.

Surely that is the end of Lovett for the year - just not up to it.

Not defending Lovett, but he has our most forward metres after Woods and most tackles after Elijah. I can see why that might be appealing to a coach.

Tuis only had a few sessions… No time for goal kicking practice

Forwards tried hard and were doing an okay job. But allowed too many offloads and our edge defence remains awful. We aren't putting enough pressure on dragons, they seem to have an age to pass and run compared to us.

Yep. Our defensive line jogs a few metres then waits. Maybe we've forgotten that we're actually fit again.

We have no attacking flair. There are no points in our plays. No matter how much time we spend in the opposition half we can't do jack. Brooks is our only attacking weapon, him and Lolo could form a decent combination, but he's not here. It's really disappointing to see my beloved team at such a low point, but at least 2018 will be good? I hope?
