Any other ground will never feel like Home.

They folded two clubs WT'S do not have a spiritual homd ground heres the chance to get one.

We all know Leichhardt is the Tigers spiritual home ground, anyone who has been to a Campbelltown and Leichhardt home game has FELT it.

Build a new concrete jungle and it just won't be the same.
Long live Leichhardt

What about Wests?

They gave up there spiritual home ground yonks ago

Shame really

Yeah they did, but that doesn't make LO the Wests Tigers spirtual home ground

I never said it did .

Leichhardt would be good for a few games a year .

Yeah I know you didn't but @Hangonaminute did. I also would hate to lose LO, one of my favourite places in the world.

Still so early with all this chatter. We need to focus on our own aims and if this plan comes to fruition, cross that bridge when it comes. Right now we need to get our COE up and running, have some kind of resolution with Balmain leagues and re establish/improve pathways from MacArthur area juniors.

Ideally we’d play six games at Leichhardt and six at Campbelltown. Not possible atm, only time will tell if it will become so. Right now we have a deal with ANZ bankwest for four games a year until end of 2022, so plenty of water will flow under the bridge before and decision needs to be made.

Now is the exact time to be having this chatter, the club should be making a decision about what it wants while all this is in the planning. We need to be taking our thoughts and wants to the NRL on this issue during the planning stage so our needs are considered. Waiting for the stadium to be built is not proactive and will lead us to a result that doesn't benefit the club.

To be honest, you’re right. But I’d be trying to get a reno at Leichhardt and Campbelltown then before advocating for Liverpool. Seems crazy to ditch our two areas for a third...

Liverpool's a great idea if you fancy getting mugged after the game.

Gotta re-develop Leichhardt or Campbelltown if we're serious about a home ground. Liverpool is no- mans land when it comes to our fan base

I don't think Leichhardt or Campbelltown are options for this funding.

Liverpool would be WT'S ACT basically half way between Campbelltown and Leichhardt and if it did happen would a new beginning for WESTS TIGERS

Agreed mate, I think it would be great.

Playing out of Bulldogs stadium ? Think not ... rather the stadium at Moore pk !

Wests Tigers playing in the Eastern Suburbs again would be silly.

The club is an inner city club .. Balmain / Ashfield / Concord .. it is hard to understand !

So name change?

I wouldn't be against a complete re-brand of the club if we were to finally decide on a home venue. Whether that be Livo, Cambo or the Inner West.

As it stands we're a bit of a nomad club atm. Not fully embracing our Western footprint whilst clinging on to what's left of our retro era inner west links.

Having the training base at Concord and home grounds all over the shop says it all really

I honestly don't see why "*Not fully embracing our Western footprint whilst clinging on to what's left of our retro era inner west links*" is actually a problem. Why can't we have both? We don't need to choose between fibros and lattes, we can be fibros who drink lattes. Terrible analogy, but you know what I mean. I love the diversity of our fan base.

**This is the exact problem I see with our greater fan base. There's still a deep rooted tribalism instead of a united front.**

A good analogy for me is we're 'A man of many talents but a master of none'. Very conflicted identity.

I really don't care where our home venue would be, it's just that it would be nice to have a permanent one.

Each time we play at Campbelltown or Leichhardt, effectively half our fan base is cut off. Somewhere bang smack in the middle would be ideal and I'd have no problem making the trip

Winning comps will fix that right up. Real easy to romanticize the past when the future is no better. Especially when you think of what was lost to still be supporting a team that makes up the numbers.

The club has done a wonderful job building our brand over 20 years. Our fans can't even agree between 5 grounds in Sydney.

Being comfy and sitting down is not a Leichhardt tradition.

TBH the whole place needs a wrecking ball through it. Turn the existing place into a training/park footy venue. Develop a new Bankwest style by combining the two lower grounds next to the aquatic centre.

Would look great with one end opened up with a view across the water towards Drummoyne

I honestly don't see much deep rooted tribalism, except from a tiny number of dinosaurs. Most of us beyond a certain age definitely have a background supporting either Wests or Balmain, but I think 99% of us have genuinely embraced the shared history of both clubs, as well as the united history of WT. Occasionally there's a bit of banter between the two, but it's mostly good-natured.

I really don't want to erase our history as a merger of two distinct clubs. I was 100% a Magpie but now I have a respect and love for Balmain's history as well, and of course I'm a Wests Tiger above all.

I think buggering off Leichhardt and Campbelltown in the search for new "roots" or "soul" is madness. We already have the best roots and soul in the game. Who cares if we're not based at one stadium or in one suburb? I don't see how playing in Liverpool or Parramatta makes us stronger in any way.

it doesnt work you cant cut half your fanbase with LO or campbo
it needs to be Homebush and ANZ

I think the idea behind 3 or 4 suburban stadiums is to prevent any teams playing at ANZ

possibly cochise but it makes sene it is near ashfueld and concord and we still have a balmain leagues club license we could put at homesbush as wests tigers a little satelite club it is built up now

I really don't think ANZ makes any sense lol

ok close to ashfield and COE but fair enough.
some of the problem with macarthur region is it is built up i agree with lots of families moving to buy houses eyc who already have allegiances to clubs they support hence magpies struggled and the same woyld happen if we moved to cambo or shared a ground at liverpool with dogs no difference to parra stadium. Likewise LO and balmain area has changed and is no longer rugby league area really . That leaves homebush area it is a match with concord and ashfield area.

It is an oval and we struggle 1/4 fill the place, that makes no sense to me.

only behind the goals and a nornal club gane you wouldnt sit there anyway on the sides it isnt too bad, would go there to play games if we could get a satelite leagues club set there
