I was watching a vid about the young fella in the US who is entering some political thing under the name "Deez Nuts" …

The GTRA Titans or whatever is his High School team logo, he had posters around his room when they were interviewing him....

Brool cory sto

The logo is owned by the NRL I think but I'd like to see us build a bit of tradition by hanging on to what we started with. Obviously we can't do that with the jersey but I'd like to keep the logo (and just for a bit of controversy, the magpie too.)

i love the logo and our colours. i really do. i'll be devastated if it was changed.

you can see from a mile away when you see a fellow WT supporter coz of the bright orange and the logo. we have no identity and i know this hardly counts as one but would love for us to keep it as it is.

im just so sick of all the chopping and changing. maybe it sells more? i personally prefer looking at the same thing with maybe different textures and designs.

Its too flat, two dimensional and symmetrical….never been a fan much myself

As a kid I loved the Tigers logo, well before I started following footy, the colours were bright and the Tiger appealing to a young boy

Even though I was a Magpie supporter as a kid, I was rapt in the Balmain jersey designed by fashion designer Pierre Balmain (early 1960s?) It had a huge tiger right in the middle of it.

the tiger is the biggest selling sporting brand in the world.

i mean honestly, is there any sporting competition before U7s to major leagues that doesn't have a team called tigers in it?

to change anything about it would just be stupid.

anyway, im getting worked up about nothing (feels like this is the only thing im passionate about for this club lol

It's about time that those who use the tiger emblem, including us, stumped up a bit of cash to help efforts to save tigers in the wild. They are heading towards extinction and it wouldn't hurt us; it could even be good publicity for us for not much money, maybe a couple of hundred a month.

Play like tigers on the field and save tigers off the field. What about some of you supporters kicking the tin? (in case you were wondering, I already do).

I'd be happy to chuck in $10 to get the ball rolling, but that's all I can afford as I am nearly skint.
Just need someone to organise it.

I also suggested in reply to a poster on another thread about a bit of $$$ support for Taniela Tuiaki as it sounded like he has been having a rough time since breaking his ankle playing for Us.
A couple of blokes showed genuine interest, but the thread disappeared.
Once again I'm prepared to chuck in $10 to get the ball rolling, but only if someone else is prepared to organise it.
