Lolohea

Well good that Cleary has cleared the air - not wishing the young bloke harm but i am glad it is an injury problem rather than a psych issue.

Back next week apparently and now all he has to do is get fit again before hopefully regaining good form - we need him imo.

Good to finally know whats going on with lolohea. Knee's are tricky as Geo said.

It did look heavily strapped. Question is why were we playing him when he was quite clearly injured?

Wasn't it heavily strapped late last year also?

Assume the world cup commitments took its toll.

I am expecting him back in the team at full fitness.

As much as I’d like to see him back in the team, there is a lot of talk of the club looking at fullback options for this year and next. I’d say on his on the outs either considered not up to fullback or he has other issues ie lazy

I know he has skill, but I don't see him back in 1s. He looks at least 5kg to big to suit his style, his positional play isnt great, he lacks pace, doesn't run back hard, doesn't seem that fit, doesn't seem seem to be able to sniff around the ruck either and wouldn't be able to catch someone who made a break unless he was right there.

Plenty of talk around Nathan Cleary as well - hasn't exactly hurt Brooks' performance this year. He's been really good - relishing the challenge. It's up to Tui now to prove he has what it takes otherwise a permanent replacement will be made.

I really like Tui but I just can't fit him in anywhere in the team going on current form. Only way he could get in is via injury. He's good back up but I don't see him wanting to be a reserves player

Has been injured according to Cleary. Will be back in ISP next week

Hardly going to challenge for a spot until he is 100% again.

Bulldogs are chasing him to partner Kerian Foran.

Who are they offering to swap

Big front rower…

Klemmer, cool

Other guy…really no idea...why do Clubs have to offer in return..who did we give the Warriors for Lolohea's services...?

Or the Panthers to get Elijah mid season..

Can be a simple matter of a Club taking up the players existing contract is enough + the player at the other Club has got to want too move...who knows...Seems an odd move for the Dogs who are still under Cap pressure..

Hence why a swap may be what they are looking at. If they can get Lolohea, and offload Eastwood, and get us to pay some of Eastwood's contract, they would be far better off cap-wise.

It would't be good for us though, so the deal doesn't make sense, so it's probably not that.

Why I asked is the dogs have cap trouble as you say, they can't afford another player without losing one.
