Knowing that we’re the only NRL team that hasn’t played a Finals game for 7 years, can’t help but think that no matter what our coaching or recruitment circumstances are, we need to make the Top 8 again.

Also does anyone actually know how many games we’ve played in the Finals? Found this on the NRL page and was surprised to see Dragons play as little as 23 games, expected more tbh.
 
How much more damage can head office do to the game next year.

At their current rate we will be watching park football live within 6 years. That will be the only way to get a league fix

Thanks. Wow though a very low number of games, that’s still an impressive win rate.
That 2010 team deserved to reach great heights. What a team it was.
The game against Dragons is the only game I can honestly declare pride for my team’s performance in a losing game. I might be biased but that game was the most high standard/quality game I’ve ever watched.

That was a terrific game Lauren and I walked away from the ground feeling quite chuffed despite losing. That's never really happened to me before, I hate losing especially such an important game as a semi, but that game had it all and both teams deserved to win. I had no such good feeling the following year though, after the quarter final loss to the Warriors 😢

A lot of ex players NRL, AFL do multiple radio/ TV, ambasodor roles etc.

Benji as a full time host on 9 and a part time role here and there would be up there. I’d guess he’s be earning 700k easily with his profile.

Newspaper writers are on ? compared to TV even the big names are 200-300k.
That’s why they jump on TV shows where they can. Especially if they have a gambling habit.

One thing I rememeber from that game, we were in the levels between the main bottom bays and the larger top section on the station side…bad spot for 6 foot blokes

Should have won that game. Ripped off not getting the penalty when Jeremy Smith slid knees first into (Heighington?) on the ground when it was 12-12 wth about 10 to go. Lead 12–6 at half time. That hurt, not as much as the Roosters game a couple weeks before though.
