Looks like Gallen Doesn't Rate or want Woods in the Team

in the past they've picked someone like Idris or T-Williams who can come off the bench and rip the game apart with pure strength

I think Fifita fits that mould better than Woods

But really they both should be there, NSW are one prop short IMO

Woodsy the next Nathan Merritt/Luke Burt/El Masri? So many games, so many records, no nsw jumper. In between, so many wtf selections, guys who you don't even remember today. Hope he gets selected some day.

el Masri played for the blues

He gets a mention here.

Look I think people are taking this the wrong way

Gallen may have forgotten to mention Woods , sometimes the most obvious things slip our minds

But in the same vein I hope Woods belts him next time they play just as a friendly reminder and whisper a quick "Hello " in his ear

Gallen rated Ennis over Farah as well.

So really it is just one mans opinion.

The real worry is that muppet Bob Fulton still having a say

Woods is most definitely on the Australian Selectors minds for the World Cup, so I struggle to think he wouldn't get a run at some stage in the next 18 months at Origin Level.

Taking my Qld hat off, I wouldnt of picked him this year for Game 1\. Game 1 is different to Game 2 & 3 but as the series unfolds, an opportunity may come!

Origin is all about timing. At the start of last year, no one would have picked Carney to play Origin. At the start of this year, no one would have picked Fifita and especially Ferguson to be in the team.

It is also part luck. I mean, come on, Josh Reynolds…he's an alright player, but this is Origin. Its got Jamie Buhrer written all over it.

I didn't know that. He and Farah combined so well together last year. They played like captain and vice captain - bet he's changed his mind now.

Gallen doesn't want Woodsie present because he might steal some of the hitups. We are all aware that Gallen is a hog, even Sharkies supporters can concede this.

I'd like to see them change the bench/interchange rules for SoO and maybe NRL proper.

Just have the bench act as replacements, when you are off, you are off. And then have a 6-8 man bench. Although it would encourage grubby play to take players out so needs refinement. Theoretically it would add some more strategy and give more options to make thing interesting (although I doubt Snozy big nose would use it to its potential).
