Loss of Sheens would be Devastating

Look at the 2007 stats and Galea was the centre with the most effective one on one tackles, least trys scored against, least line breaks conceded, least missed tackles and least errors. Have fun at the Royal Wedding.

Come on now you are not a new supporter. Blocked out all memory of seasons 2007,2008, 2009? (2006 was a big injury year so I will leave that out).

The recruitment of Moodie, the retention of Halatau, the converting of Bronson Harrisson to prop?

Nowhere have I stated we are in crisis. This year still has alot of twists and turns for every club before it can be properly assessed. We could win the grand final and it would not change my opinion that Sheens has served us well but we need to look towards the future. We have some of the best attacking weapons in the world at the disposal of the team but our defence remains weak willed so much of the time with more holes than muslin cloth.

As far back as 2008 I have called for Sheens to move to a coaching direcor who can oversee operations but has no say over team selections. FTR I believe Sheens will stay as he is on far too good a wicket at WT in terms of job security

Anyway I have said my piece on this issue and will leave it at that and instead look forward to the Canberra game

Stop with the facts and common sense Smeg, the Sheens supporters are brain washed like the club were, but the club is slowly seeing the light, unlike the supporters.

Sheens has had some good times at the tigers, but their also have been plenty of lows. I dont blame him for what happens on the paddock, I do blame him for team selections, recruitment, tactics and motivation and he seems to have got it wrong a lot of the time. Iam with Smeg and a few others, the time is ripe for a change, what have we to loose, we have one of the better playing rosters in the league give someone else a crack before this group slides over the hill

The title of thread says Sheens loss would be "devasting",well I too would be devasted if I never get the opportunity to witness Sheens select a team like this.(this is over a number of years, and obviously not all selected at one time but were selected in these positions none the less).
Obviously the reserves would only get 5 minutes maximum or not on at all.
1-Moltzen
2-Moodie(2nd stint at club)
3-O'Halloran
4-NBQ
5-Lazarus
6-Fitzy
7-Morris
8-Bronson
9-Fulton
10-Galea
11-Trimarchi
12-Lolesi
13-Hill
14-Head
15-Ryan
16-Meaney
17-Hanbury

Lose Sheens and we will lose all credibility.

Bennett has already made the Knights feared for next year. That's the same effect Sheens has.

He has had a few selection nightmares, but which coach hasn't?

Bennett played Minto for years on the wing and he was absolutely horrible. Did Broncos fans call for his sacking? Come on people fair suck. Beyond a joke seriously.
Sheens is a legend.
Do we really want someone like Ricky Stuart or Nathan Brown? SERIOUSLY!

Very well said.

And I can't believe people are seriously suggesting we will become a basketcase if Sheens leaves. What a joke.

Maybe not straight away …....... but when you see what the likes of Stuart, Anderson and trouble makers like that have down to their clubs, it makes me shudder to think what might happen.

Be a shame to see all the good work that Tims put in and one fo those blokes put the final brick on it and claims it as theirs.

I hope he stays.

**The longer it takes to announce what is going on the more likely it is Sheens is leaving**…It would be a no brainer announcement if he were staying, but if he leaves, they need to carefully script what he would announce and besides Sheens would want to tell the club and players well before the public hears about it..

So sheens got us to 2 finals in 8 seasons but it's ok because we had 'credibility' ????

How credible were we from 2006-2009?!!

Deadset some people in here…

I know fergie frustrating isn;t it…yet the key stakeholders remain the same Farah Benji and Sheens...

wait...Humphreys....there is something different
