Loss to sharks typifies season

That loss tonight typifies the tigers season.
1\. some brilliant play from the tigers but conceded far to great an early lead
2.the best player was an ex-tiger Fifita, a player underappreciated when at the club
3\. One of Benji's rubbish performances - a crowd pass, a forward pass, a penalty kick that failed to find touch, and not enough compensating positives. Benji this season has looked past it and as great a Tigers player as he's been, it might be time to go
4\. continuing encouraging signs from young players
5\. continuing disappointment from recent experienced recruits like Anasta and Blair, and where is Pettybourne and does it matter?

I thought Blair was alright tonight? Definitely not our worst. Pettybourne has left for England and yes terrible game. Bring brooks in ASAP

Blair was good again and actually improved on recent performances in some ways. Ran straighter, faster and harder.

Anasta is an unnecessary addition to the side and Potter is shoe horning him in. He needs to stop. He gave Pettybourne the flick, he should send Braith to England as well since after the bye we get Galloway back. Not that he was horrible, just no use for him.

The loss in this one came down to a few things…

Sharks played alright
Marshall missed touch
When we were on a roll a few passes just didn't stick

That's how it rolls. It was a nice watch imo.

Its a young side under a new coach still finding itself with some great signs of things to come. We just need Benji to go to union,

reminded me of the saints game.

we played our beest game of the season against storm the week before then played rubbish to follow it up

under sheens, consistency had been our biggest issue- we'se seen potter's potential imo let's see how he can get us to be consistent. might have to start that with benji

We didn't play poorly in the first half, 2 flukey tries to them from deflected kicks and a cracking take by Luke Lewis put us behind the 8 ball. Some poor defence on the Fifita try hurt though. When we got some ball (and held it) in the second half we showed what we could do. The killer was when Marshall didn't find touch from a penalty and BMM gave away a penalty to give back the field position we gain from the penalty. The difference between the two sides was the sixes, one was poor and the other was outstanding.
