smoke and mirrors mate, and what you think lote woke up on sunday and said "hey i wanna play for the tigers, good coincidence their ceo is in the same town as me right now"

this was done a long time ago i know it kul knows it and geo knows it.

mean while we are still waiting on your "info" that lima and inu were done deals, where are they?

nothing anderson stated has been proven wrong you know it and everyone else does.

Sorry Ron …..All I knew was that if Lortay decided to come back to the NRL is that the Wests Tigers would be interested......that's my story and I'm sticking to it.....

No one has mentioned the most stunning aspect of this announcement…...

THREE YEARS!

Not a dash for cash mercenary visit in between gigs. This looks, sounds and smells like the real deal.

Coincidently its the same term as when the Tele noted it was done and dusted months ago.

Any idea how much coin per season?

I read somewhere earlier that it's around $220,000 per season plus an extra $200,000 per season from a 3rd party (which I believe is Benny Elias).

a 30 year old winger is gonna play fb ,why didnt we just keep hodgson

There you are, took you a while didn't it? What happened, did a few kids need to hear Santa Claus isn't real before you could come on here?

The more I think about it, I dont think the "timing" aspect of his return is such a big deal (returning without an offseason, after season starts). With Folkes in charge of fitness/conditioning it is likely that he will send a tailored programme over there for him. As far as working combinations etc that should be gleaned over weeks of training preseason, his role initially will surely be to replace Tuiaki. I cant imagine that a guy who has played wing for Brisbane, QLD SOO, Australia RL, Wallabies would need more than a week to learn to position himself outside Chris Lawrence to catch a pass and score.

no but neither are dual internationals with over a combined 100 rep jersies to their name either.

Humphreys said it wasn't a done deal before he went over but I think he had to say that. He said he was never real confident that Lote would be signed until it was done. Humphreys said Lote and the family going over to the UK was good for them to get away for a bit but Lote getting the family back home to Australia was a big reason why he signed with Wests. Humphreys also said Lote appreciates the Wests Tigers culture and Sheens being the coach. Humphreys said Lote signed 3 years because he wants to feel like he is part of a club. Humphreys said he went over there because Leicester wanted to keep him and Humphreys wanted to negotiate with Lote on level playing field. Humphreys said Lote will be back in Sydney at the end of March. Humphreys said Lote could be back as early as Round 3 or 4 but he hesitiated when he answered that, maybe not knowing the exact round, but he said Sheens will determine what round Lote starts in first grade and what position he plays in. Humphreys did say though that he expects Lote to start on the wing. Humphreys also said this is a very important season. Everyone at the club is working hard and are looking to see ways they can improve. Humphreys said that they have invested alot of money in equipment and new signings. He thanked everyone for stepping up and becoming members and said it's the best way to support the club.
