I've given up hoping to be honest. Not because i don't believe it but i'm choosing to think neither way on the matter and weather or not it will happen. If it happens it happens , if it doesn't it doesn't. Time will tell.

Ditto me to. As a friend always tells me, "come what may".

Well wasn't Gallop quoted as saying on Friday that the Tigers would still have to run Lote's indescretions past the NRL to get him registered? I'm surprised if they could have done all that by today..

Plus, going on Lote's tweets, he was still in Brisbane yesterday. He could be flying back today, but it just makes a signing today seem a bit less likely.

I found interesting quote from the australian article re the sponsor wars

Tigers chief executive Stephen Humphreys did not want to go into any detail when contacted by The Australian yesterday but said he was still hopeful the car manufacturer would continue its four-year association with his club. Humphreys said he intended to contact Noyce soon to discuss the matter and **he would also raise it when he visited NRL headquarters today over another issue.** >

Could the other issue be registering Lote????

Andrew - great spotting!! I read the article too, but gleaned over that part. Didn't take Noycey long to pick up some filthy behavior like his Roosters counterparts.

My money is on a Thursday announcement.

have faith guys its coming, i said i wasnt 100% sure it was going to be today, the nrl have to approve the contract and 3rd party agreements before it can be officially announced, but everything seems above board, so like i said have faith and relax, its all paper work thats holding the announcement up at the moment.

I have looked on for 700+ posts so far trying to convince myself that Lote is not coming to the Tigers next year, but I have finally cracked. I hope you are right Anderson because this would be a great signing both on and off the field.

Looks like things may have changed…...

"He was just days away of signing with the Tigers who said they were 95% complete in the process of signing Tuqiri, before he reportedly rejected their offer in favour of European Rugby. His return to rugby league would have make him the fourth big name rugby union player to return to league in 3 years. He also hasn't ruled out the possibility of playing the European off season in Japanese Rugby. Union[6]."

Not good!

If that is the case that will do me. he has kept us hanging on or ages and deal just about done and he sells out to european rugby. Lote i would love to have you at the tigers but geez what a circus. if all he is after is the money then just say it and move on. So much about not wanting to leave Australia. anyway there is still some hope. And with wikipedia anyone could have written that

That new section is a load of rubbish, I just looked at wikipedia and by following the links given (following the link to note 6) found that the supposed information is the October 9th article by Dean Ritchie on the Fox Sports site, and nowhere within it does it state he is turning his back on us infact it is the article that states we are close to signing him.

**DO NOT** take anything on wikipedia seriously unless there is a solid reference to go with it and even then it can be a bit dodgy.
