I can 100% confirm that someone else is living in the Balmain house that Lote Tuqiri had been living in for the past 5/6 years. Someone else has moved in.

so that DT rumour might have some starch behind it

so someone else lives in the house he "lives" in? confused

Maybe all the grounds are snowed under in the UK hence he is back in the country ?

Lotto played for Leicester Tigers on Saturday the 2/1/10 and is named in the side to play London Wasps on Saturday 9/1/10\. Leicester Tigers are coming 4th and Lotto is quoted about being excited about trying to win there comp. Those premiership rounds end on the 8/5/10 and their Grand Final is on the 28/5/10.

Make of this what you will.

_**Salary cap to force Tuqiri out**
18th December 2009 08:49\
\
\
Due to financial restrictions Lote Tuqiri is unlikely to stay at Leicester Tigers next season according to the club's head of operations.\
\
\
\
The former Wallaby wing arrived at Welford Road in November on a six-month deal, but an extension of his contract would push Tigers over the salary cap limit.\
\
\
The Guinness Premiership champions were able to secure the services of the 67 Test veteran, who is set to make his seventh appearance for the club in Saturday's Heineken Cup clash with Clermont, thanks to an injury dispensation allowance after skipper Geordan Murphy was ruled out for four months with a shoulder surgery.\
\
\
Clubs are allowed to break the £4, 4m salary cap if a player is out for three months or more and they sign a replacement.\
\
\
But Leicester's head of operations Simon Cohen says that with Murphy set to return before the end of the season, Tigers will find it hard to hold on to Tuqiri considering the cost involved in keeping an international player of his standing.\
\
\
"We would like to keep Lote because he is a world- class player. But he was brought in as an injury allowance under the salary cap as a replacement for Geordan Murphy for a certain period of time," Cohen told the Leicester Mercury.\
\
\
"If that dispensation is not available for next year, it is going to be very difficult to find the money to keep him."\
\
\
With Murphy and Kiwi full-back Scott Hamilton also out of contract at the end of the season and yet to sign new deals, Cohen said Tigers would be forced into the market if they could not get both men to stay.\
\
\
"Both Geordan and Scott are out of contract and neither have re-signed yet," he added.\
\
\
"We have got to cover our backs by looking to strengthen those areas in case they don't stay."_

Quote from Napton Tiger in the Leicester Tigers forum _"Having watched Tuqiri in "action" in every home and away match so far I won't be sorry to see him leave. His form suggested enormous benefit to Tigers but as far as I can see it has failed to materialise. This too has been the general reaction of both Tigers and opposition supporters around me at all the games."_

Quote from tig1 "Tiquiri - Maybe its me, but is he incredibly slow ???

Was at the match last night. Half way through 1st half cant recall which clermont player chipped through, but probably 30 -40 yards out and Tuqiri was virtually outstripped by the clermont 2nd row (number 4) who crashed into the boardings. Ok, we have Tom Croft who can play 4 but…..

Same thing happened again towards the end of the 1st half. I think it was their scrum half ? but again he toook about 5 yards out of tuiqiri in same situation. I think Hamilton got across to cover.

Both situations, i was amazed how slow he was. Anybody else see that ?"

By the time he is available to play for us we will have hopefully already filled his positions adequately with players who have been around all season.

Surely you dont need people that you dont know to tell you about Tiquiri. I can find find posts from people I dont know that will convince you Fitzhenry is all class.

Just spent ages reading their forum. The fans general consensus is that he is slow, of poor fitness and form and they hope he does not resign for their next season. Lote in numerous articles saying he wants to stay playing Rugby etc etc.

Interesting stuff.

Poor Mighty Mouse. Genuine Rocket. Heart of gold. Would have died to be with us. Shame on you Fonz.

Read the fans Forum or do a search on it on 'Lote'. There is not much favourable opinion on Lotto at all.

You are right as Lote was not on the scene then but to say that he left because of Moltz and Mullo's in my opinion is not quite correct.

I wish we kept the Mouse he was gonna be something special imo. Cowboys got a brand new Bowen 2010 model!
On LT maybe he is thinking bout league and trying not to get injured? Thats what I hope anyway.

Players that are great in Rugby League do not always succeed in the boring game.

I can think of a dozen players (Mostly Backs) that havent been able to kick IMO they dont all of a sudden become crap…

As the Wendell experiment showed is in the last two seasons, even an older star with 2 years off can make a difference if his head and heart are there.

Plus it is a great move for the rest of our young squad.

I am happy if he is taking it a bit easy in UK .... This shows me where his prioity is.

. . . . and dont call me Shirley.

As i said, I dont need the opinion of English rah rah fans to form my opinion of him.

I can't bothered reading through all these pages to find if my facts are right or what i say
has been brought up.

For me,
I can't wait to hear an announcement stating his arrival, but if it doesn't eventuate,so be it.
His current form in rah rah atm is irrelevant to me.Plenty of time off, climate could play a factor
and two players extra on the field.

I'm sure he can recapture his status here of being lethal in a rugby league backline.

Even like the idea of him not starting the season with us,being here mid season.Whether arriving
to a team starting the season strong at the top of the table or a team mid field or struggling to gel.

I don't know much of Lote but he seems far from modest.Be nice to have a narcissist in the club.
Hate have a great win and hearing alot of the opps instead loss aka the manly game. Not saying he will change
that but i don't think he'd wanting to chat about the opp as much.

Back on being a mid season buy..being a from the maggies side of the merger..
Can anyone from the Balmain side tell me about the arrival of Ellery Hanley in 1988?How you
playing prior to his arrival and how you finished the year?…..Simonthetiger....
My memory might be dusty, might be wrong and might be comparing apples and oranges but...
He didn't start the season did he?

I think Lote would definitely have an impact.

Anyway I'll wait and see if he comes here or not.

I hope he does come to the tigers. He has experience and just him being part of the squad will surely boost the team all round. when does he finish up overseas guys?

That is the question to which we still do not know the answer.
