Lote

Most people (myself included) have considered him a liability all season and rightly so.

Tonight however he proved he still has something to offer. By far his best game for a very long time.

So well done Lote!

Looks like he had the strapping off the arm. Could explain his poor handling the last couple of weeks. Much better tonight.

After the first Warriors try I thought he would be in for a long night Seemed like he had much more enthusiasm and showed some grit out of dummy half

What do they say about champions Don't write em off

The criticism has been justified…he has been hopeless for a year now.

I was happy with him tonight but wont get on my knees just yet.

X 2… He still owes us a lot of good performances!

Came off the line early for the first try, but really not his fault when he was left posted in an overlap and made sure his effort wasn't wasted by taking a cameraman in the process. Looked a lot more solid after that though and by and far gave his best effort for the year.

He needs to produce that every game going forward though.

Showed great speed to score his try, looked quick.. If he continued to improve for the rest of the season I would be happy to give him another season…
Well done lote ur a class act

He played his best game this year by far after some pretty ordinary games. I too hope he improves every week. For mine it will be a tough call about giving him another season. He is popular and very marketable but I would be filthly if we re-signed Lote and lost Marika Koberiete becausde of it. Marika is a super star in the making and in about 2 years will be the best winger in the NRL. He is a must keep and if that means letting Lote go I can live with that decision.

Lote was an amazing player dual international, but one try last night doesnt mean much.
How many times is he caught out of position, the final try he was nowhere to be seen and it was his wing.

When the warriors scored long range try where molz kicked it, beau ryan ran all the way from his wing, bur lote didnt even turn around and give chase…

It looked like he only started trying hard when utai came on.

In saying that i hope he comes good and plays like he did in his first season here were he was awesome.

Hopefully he will get a lot of confidence out of that. Nice to see him find some form, hope he keeps it.

he looked like he was enjoying himself out there.
he controls his future prospects with wests-tigers.

Might have been his wing but have a look at the set up off the kick off. Lote actually gets committed near the 40 m line in the middle of the field.

His best game of the year last night. No dropped balls and ran with vigour. All Lote has needed all along is game time. The more he plays without getting injured the more your going to see of the old Lote.

I was in that corner last night and Ayshford pushed Lote up to fill the hole of the short kick off so not his fault he wasn't around just a bit of bad luck really.

Sunshine I agree with u, but regardless of lote Marika I'm sure is already signed up.. Hee still very young, sheensy is the best at developing young blokes like Marika, if lote keeps improving one year could be good, and Marika will play first grade this year or next anyway, bloody injuries lol
