Yep I don’t get the anyone but brooks mindset. We’ll still be bottom 8 without a serious upgrade.

I’d say brooks is more like an VT clubsport (the 195kw version) when the neighbor has the AMG.

Or in the absolutely horrendous outcome:
* no other offers from elsewhere, but we rush to re-sign him as a unproven 6
* even worse we re-sign him as a continued 7 despite 10 years of non-productive results.
* we know the 10 year club veteran player discount will allow WT to pay more for his signature but have that $$$ figure discounted because of it although there is no need to outbid due to lack of other suitors
* this interim period of the next few years before the younger ones can step up we really do need a mentor type half. Brooks just doesnt communicate enough.

For the sake of WT and Brooks we both need to separate but I dont mind Brooks shifting to 6 for remainder of season to justify the $$$ for a 6 shift in our future plans, but the new half search has to continue, we cant give up and just settle.

We can use the long serving player discount on Nofa's contract, no reason at all to re-sign Brooks

Brooks fits in fine with us. It's the other half that we have issues with. SJ has clearly considered coming here but it's a big thing for him to move his family.

The off-contract Warriors star is yet to make a final decision on his playing future but he has told the Tigers he was not willing to relocate to with his young family to Australia again. It is understood he informed the Tigers of the news on Friday.

We need another half and we really need a marquee half but we won't get a marquee half.

I'm interested in who the club looks to sign. I assume we have to try and get some juniors in and retain Wakeham as well.

I feel like it will be Brooks at 6 & Pearce at 7 next year. Wakeham retained as the backup similar to this year.

If he gets paid on his KPIs then he'd be living on the street. Good bloke but can't set up tries.

Seriously what the hell is wrong with this club. Just started ing to see improvement then bam.

Yeh if this club wasn't a all time joke then resigning Brooks would do it.
