Shuster could be the best lock in the game if he checks his attitude and improves his fitness.
We need a organisational 7 and with limited options - Aiden Sezar could fill the role. Adam Reynolds would've been perfect but that isn't happening. We need a basic, no frills, leader.
As for 6, I'd like to see some spark.
A good runner with some silky skills.
Not interested in persisting with Brooks.
Money ball signing with Rajeb.
Roll the dice.
That's a massive upgrade on our current spine but yes, I can see why you don't like it.

Good point on the prop at lock but I don't like Schuster. I think it's an extremely risky signing.
It's just your hate for Brooks make you come up with two halves that would probably be worse than what we have.
It's just terrible all round options to improve the team and we need to improve the team not roll the dice due to some irrational hatred of Brooks.
I could change the word hatred to love and justify my side of the argument...
We don't need a BeTtEr player than Brooks - we need a different one.
One that has the skills to control, score and lead.

If it’s not obvious to everybody by now that Brooks is a running five eighth and NOT a halfback then they haven’t been paying attention.

He is a secondary half whatever the number on his back says. If we had Wally Lewis Brooks would be fine at 7.
I get your point though on calling him a 6. The funny thing is now though his detractors are stating he is a good game manager. I'm serious as well.
Whatever the case there is way too much negative focus on one of our best players this season.

Sheens and Benji rate Brooks remember, cant fit that ego through Sydney Heads. Theyll probably give him another contract........................................or they will have been proven wrong and the 99% of the fans that have been crying to dump Brooks for the last 8 years will have been proven even more correct. Their egos wont let it happen. Contract renewal is a guarantee.
