With all due respect to your comment, I get a bit tired about that #7 has to steer the side around. What difference does it make if the guy that steers the team around has a #6 or a #7 on his back?

For years we have been playing two halves, one on each side of the field and all we need is for one of them to step up and take on that role.

Agreed that it would be nice if both were capable of taking on that role, but one thing all of us can probably agree on is that if Luke Brooks was that guy he would have demonstrated those characteristics well and truly by now and it hasn't been forth coming.

I don't care what anybody says, I still believe that Luke Brooks is a good player and have previously stated that I think he will have a big year on the back of someone like Hastings being able to take on that role of steering the team around.

If that doesn't eventuate, then I have also stated that it could be a long year. One of the big failings of this club has been signing Luke Brooks to long contracts and failing to sign the support that he needs, or possibly even recognizing that he needs that support.

You then mentioned a poster wishing death on some one which you, yourself made light of the death of some one, no matter how silly the situation is regarding it, is a very vile and disgraceful comment which required moderating and the comments deleted because it is a bad look for the community and the forum.

Then you complain incessantly about people having a negative opinion about Brooks and posting about it which in turn you chose to comment on just as much as they adding to everyone's complaints of not wanting threads turn to Brooks thread etc etc.

We’ve tried everything , including a 5 player steering committee. What we need is a group of talented individuals (already have a few) who have an obsession for teamwork. Oh, and for Brooks to thoroughly enjoy his footy again.

You just have to keep going back to the amount of players that have left and played finals. There’s no reason why Brooks wouldn’t be the same. It’s the club.

I saw a post last about from you about the decline of the forum since the mod dramas. You then mentioned a poster wishing death on some one which you, yourself made light of the death of some one, no matter how silly the situation is regarding it, is a very vile and disgraceful comment which required moderating and the comments deleted because it is a bad look for the community and the forum.

Then you complain incessantly about people having a negative opinion about Brooks and posting about it which in turn you chose to comment on just as much as they adding to everyone's complaints of not wanting threads turn to Brooks thread etc etc.

Do I have to even elaborate or do you genuinely so self UNAWARE of your own posting ?

With all due respect to your comment, I get a bit tired about that #7 has to steer the side around. What difference does it make if the guy that steers the team around has a #6 or a #7 on his back?

For years we have been playing two halves, one on each side of the field and all we need is for one of them to step up and take on that role.

Agreed that it would be nice if both were capable of taking on that role, but one thing all of us can probably agree on is that if Luke Brooks was that guy he would have demonstrated those characteristics well and truly by now and it hasn't been forth coming.

I don't care what anybody says, I still believe that Luke Brooks is a good player and have previously stated that I think he will have a big year on the back of someone like Hastings being able to take on that role of steering the team around.

If that doesn't eventuate, then I have also stated that it could be a long year. One of the big failings of this club has been signing Luke Brooks to long contracts and failing to sign the support that he needs, or possibly even recognizing that he needs that support.

Never said he wasn't a good player or didn't have the talent. I'm just tired of the whole experiment. Move his position or club. It's not working.

Brooks never played finals, should never had won Halfback of the year in 2018 when it really should of been cronk who won , his passing game is weaker than watered down coke, His kicking game dont even get me started, His last tackle options are some of the i have ever seen in the league i would rather have madden in the halves than brooks. It hasnt worked out it never will move him on to somewhere where they might get some remanence of an NRL player
