MY opinion is hoping the decision is made on form.

My opinion is that the decision will be made on form. I don't think there will be any conspiracy operating if Brooks somehow manages to retain a spot in the halves throughout the season. If Brooks is there he deserves the spot due to performing well or the other 2 performing poorly.

My bet is by the end of the season our halves pairing barring injuries will be Hastings and Douiehi.

We are going to find out though.

I remember a man gave me his word, out of "respect" that they would remove my real name from the forum because I had had people dox me. I would think that a "man of their word" would keep their word and not intentionally do that.

My RL facebook profile with links to my partner, kids and business was posted on here. I have had people contact in RL. There was a poster of me shared on Discord. After that people thought it was clever to call me my RL name, coincidentally only the Discord bro's.

ON THIS FORUM, my facebook profile, including links to my kids, partner and business was posted and eventually taken down and this was reported to me by the mods. That is enough for me.

I really doubt these things you claim actually happened. I've never seen a poster of you... honestly haven't seen anything remotely accurate to what you claim. You seem paranoid and you probably should be, cyber crime, bullying and doxxing is serious stuff... but I think you'll be alright.

Nothing. I'm not worried about Brooks being an organizing halfback. To answer the poll question to me it depends on how he performs but it's a stupid poll because he will be our starting 7 unless something drastic happens like injuries.

I'm 100% confident Madge will drop Brooks if the team is better off without him in the team.

That’s all well and good, but he has no one to drop him for.

Not right now and I don't think so in the past either but Hastings and Doueihi are going to be gunning for halves spots. If they are all fit it's 3 players into 2 positions. Maybe whoever doesn't get the spot slots somewhere else into the team but I can't see that lasting unless we are winning.

It'll be interesting how it all turns out next season. Does Brooks kill it and prove the doubters wrong ? Does Hasting show he is a quality NRL player ? Can Doueihi get his game together in the halves or does he slot into the team somewhere else ?

It seems a given by some that Hastings will be the one who outplays Brooks and Brooks is the one whose under pressure once AD gets back (if AD even comes back into the halves). I’m not as convinced.

It's not that simple. All of them need to prove themselves. I'm missing the footy.

My opinion based predominantly on hope is that Hastings and Doueihi get the halves spot. I have nothing against Brooks but to me is an average NRL half. Hopefully we do better than that.


Earl I respect your footy knowledge, but Adam will need a lot of improvement to make it in the halves.

I agree. I said the same thing. I reckon he is our best player but atm he is a utility. He wasn't quick enough at fullback, his defense in the front line needs to improve and if he is a half he needs to take the right option much more consistently.

He has heaps to work on.

One’s already tried, and are still trying by all reports. You can speculate why our club said no, but there’s no evidence other than they see him as an asset.

Compensate screwed up and I repeatedly called him out on it. As I've said numerous times on the forum, (and in a PM to him, which will remain private) I overdid it with the calling it out. Seems to me to fall a long way should of posting his real life details and links to his wife, kids and business.

Your complete disregard for my online privacy and that of my kids and partner as well as your complete reversal on what yo usaid in your private message to me, is also noted.

FWIW I did get the poster thing wrong, I misinterpreted something you said in our PM and I should set the record straight.

I will support this, a user on this site changed their profile picture to a picture of Tiger5150 they took from his facebook profile and posted personal information about him. The post was deleted and the user was banned, though is back on the forum now.
