He will have a point to prove. Good on him. Hope he smashes it out of the park. I always believed he performed better without Moses next to him.

I am very happy with this news

I am looking forward to seeing Luke grow into the Tiger that most of feel he can be.

Surely you can't be referring to the forum Spartan, as most on here would have been happy to see him nailed atop a holy cross, rather than supporting a junior from the school. He has been going okay and been treated very poorly by many on here for not reaching the level of hype and expectations of others.

This place is very black and whit in terms of love and hate.

The older ones here understand that most often, achievement takes time, hard work as well as talent.

Trying to be positive

When Brooks came on the scene he operated on both sides of the ruck in attack I hope Ivan has this in mind for Luke.

Glad you're staying with the team Brooksey, here's wishing you all the best.

I'm going to have to crop my avatar to one player soon, you'll have it all to yourself soon, by the looks of things

After watching his old highlights, I hope Ivan can get him back playing this way. He appeared to attack the fringe more when he first came to first grade. I'm sure other teams became alert to it but when was last time you saw Brooks do a kick back inside to Teddy?
He really went in to his shell the last couple of years but I believe he can be coached.

I'd actually forgotten what he was capable of, wow he looks to have lost some confidence since then! Or maybe has just taken a backseat to Moses in more recent times.. Looking forward to seeing him build his confidence again with Moses out of the side and finding his true potential.

Don't like to mention but I found Moses' video in same series much more decisive about cutting up the opposition. But if Luke get find his legs again then good on him and all us fans. wouldn't be funny in a years time him against Mitch??

And i think he will do well for the rest of the year if we let Moses go before the end of the season
It will give him (Brooks) the opportunity to own the club, grow in confidence and take charge of proceedings.

Im sure he will grow from that because if he doesnt in 2018 next to a established player like Widdop, Johnson or Foran he might disappear in their shadows.

Brooks is definitely a "confidence" player and the more he plays alone being the chief play-maker the more he will learn and develop.
He wont be able to blame anyone for his failures which should give him the chance to learn from his errors

Brooks has a much better conbination with Tedesco but Moses has taken over that combo. Hopefully Teddy stays and we can see him teaming with Brooks more once again.

Just a thought but, maybe someone told Brooks he would be playing next to McQueen if he stayed next year. Might have been what got him to re-sign.

What, you don't think he had any other offers? If the club is as bad as Woods and Tedesco keep saying why wouldn't he have looked for another club, even if it meant less money?

Im saying i doubt his decision had anything to do with McQueen….
But yeah maybe there was no other offers.
