Not sure if there is a topic elsewhere, if there is i apologise. Has anyone thought about how much his stock will go up if Ivan goes? It would mean no Cleary Jnr and Brooks holding all the cards as our chief playmaker. IF Isaac Moses is still his manager then this could get very ugly in the next few months.

I alluded a couple of weeks ago i would prefer Brooks over NC as he is one of ours and loves the club. I know Pascoe has his ring hanging out but we must extend Brooks contract immediately. The problem with the Cleary duo is you would always feel like if you lost your half you would lose your coach and vice versa. This club has to be built around people who love the club and want to be a part of it.

If Brooks had of closed out some of our games, he might have been playing finals footy, Benji and Farah were just as bad, no game manager in our team cost us :frowning:

He was one of the top halfs going round all year, so there will be plenty of interest from other clubs rest assured…we will have competition to retain him

Unless he has visions of being a Tiger for life, we will struggle to keep him. Why would anyone wanting to play finals semi regularly stay? A bit negative I know but the truth sadly

Well he is not playing finals because of HIS non skill as a 1/2 back … the sooner he gets off the bus the better IMO. This is a poor comment from someone that has very little skill set .

I don't have a problem with his comment. Fair enough, I feel annoyed/ disappointed/ frustrated that we didn't make it as well. But I want to keep him.

Should we offer him a further 2 year extension? or 3? He's on $550k now, should we offer him $800k? He's worth more than MM who someone else said was on $750k.

But then again when you read some of the stuff players write on there you really lose faith in humanity and ask yourself why kids look up to these guys. Players like Moses; Brooks; Teddy; Lodge; Nathan Brown et al. Thank God i deleted the Gram and Facebook.

This thread is going to go like every other Brooks topic.
Some love him cos they think he is loyal and consider one good game a month acceptable.
Other fans who want to be consistent and win more will call for his head.
