Is he the best in the game no, but we would be nuts not to pay top dollar for a young half who is on the rise.

I totally agree with you that our management is going great, but the website isn't a valid example. The website changed because ALL of the NRL clubs websites changed and are by my understanding centrally managed by NRL (Content management by Tigers). They are all a common template.

Couldn't afford both. Graham is still injured for awhile so not keen now. Fifita is a douche. Can play though… I'd rather of got Jesse ramien last year. Or the young Brailey brother in case Liddle can't handle it.

Brooks deal will be fine. Salary cap is only going to go up and consider if we offer him 3 years 2.7mil, we'll up his deal in 2019 at 550k to 800k and he'll be on 800k essentially for 4 years through his prime, along with Mbye locked in at a discount over the same period.

I don't think Brooks is special, but he's probably right around average, if not above average for a halfback and ultimately paying what will be approximately 7-8% of the cap (1/12th) for a solid player at a key position is good business.

ALso keep in mind he's one of our more likely players to benefit from a TPA and also will be eligible (along with Nofoaluma) for the 8 year player allowance in 2021\. That will be an extra possible 200k off his deal.
