Was trying his heart out in the first half with some success running the ball. Execution was horrible on two grubbers and then his teammates went to water, leaving him high and dry. Brooks was poor today but many were worse.

Takes 13 to defend a 7 tackle set, he was ordinary today for sure. But at least he tried.

He tried to run too much ...
I just think he’s dumb .

I’ve always been an avid supporter of Brooks but I think I’ve reach the end of my tether after today.

That was most unaccomplished performance by him today, all he did was exposed himself as a very very poor quality half and to be quite honest I’d be more than happy to swap him out for Jackson Hastings.

We need someone with a bit more mongrel in that position who play’s with a lot of confidence all of which sadly Brooks doesn’t have even after150 games.....It’s time to get realistic Madge.

After being a long time Brooks supporter, today for some reason changed my opinion. He seemed to confirm, in of all games his 150th, that he has no idea.
The problem is, we have no one else, if you can believe that Madden is playing like a busted.

Being the a-grade morons that we are, I could see us trying to bring Benji back.

He gets dropped, simple.

Effort or no effort, the organisation amongst the backline is abysmal. That falls on him. The worst teams end their sets the way we did. 7 tackle sets, getting trapped on tackle 5 and surrendering the ball. This is the play of a reserve grade half.

Worryingly, the coach needs to take responsibility for this too. But that's a topic for another thread.

The 150 game banner summed-up Brooks' career for me. He tried really hard but he couldn't cut it. When it was his time to step-up he just ran away.

always been a Brooks fan, but his fifth tackle options aren't even reserve grade quality, let alone NRL standard. needs to do something about it very quickly or he'll be on his way out.

So I have been supporting Brooks for a long time now but even I am at the point now he has to go.. I say its time we bite the bullet and go hard for Reynolds as he has another 3 years left in him. He would be excellent for us and the direction he would add would be great. He has a excellent kicking game, Goal kicker, and his performance leading the team around the park is great.. That would give us 3 years to find his replacement as I don't think Madden is the answer either.

I also totally acknowledge that it’s only round 2 so rash decisions shouldn’t be made.

But if Madge doesn’t drop Brooks then I’m afraid to say that my faith in him is shaken.
