You realise we will be paying half of that "massive contract"? You are correct that it says something, it says that the club would rather have Brooks at the club than Mbye and I agree with them.

The reason our paper thin defence was that yesterday is down to two reasons:
1) our halves did not control the game… Very poor game management by both AD and Brooks, no repeat sets, poor 5th set options and 2) our unforced errors, which is a common occurrence

Address the above two and with our forwards rolling we win most games…

True but we have no class in our backs either. Talau was our most damaging runner yesterday and he did his usual drop it cold mistake. Talau was no where near as good as the basically all the Cronulla outside backs.

Our spine looks really poor as well. Doueihi is great but he can do the same thing in the centres. Brooks just doesn't perform to a high enough level in critical games. I don't think Brooks is our biggest or close to it problem but he isn't going to carry us to wins without a gun team around him.
