Clearly a fake, Brooks is not smart enough to open a car window.

Watching some clips from 2014, it's crazy how much better he played back then compared to now. You'd think he was 26 back then and 19 now by the way he plays , should be in his prime right now but just a massive regression

Punt him

He’s not any worse than Benji has been the last 6 or 7 years. Minus the bone headed mistakes.

Jamie Soward has given his ladder prediction for 2022. He has us at 15th. This is what he said about us, which should be a good read for the Brooks bashers 🤣

The first month will be crucial for the Tigers.

There are a few things to figure out with the arrival of Jackson Hastings. Does he play alongside Luke Brooks in the halves or at lock? I think he'd be a perfect No.6 for this competition.

A Hastings-Adam Doueihi combination would be really good and maybe Brooks could even come off the bench as a dummy-half.

I just don't know if the Tigers have been fully invested in Brooks. They've never really handed him the keys and said, 'We're going to play how you want to play'. They've always made him adjust to whoever else and I think that may have run its course.

A lot of their young guys went through the wringer away from the game this year. The documentary showed what they're trying to build but they haven't had a successful season for a while.

That being the case, the pressure will be on straight away.

Yea but what Soward is getting at is that Brooks has never really been handed the team to run his way. in his 8 years in the top grade he has had 4 coaches all wanting him to play a different style of football. He has never really been allowed to play his style - but honestly i'm not sure Brooks knows what his style and his strengths and weaknesses are.

He wouldn't know how to turn them

Jamie Soward,
Man of the people.

🙌💯

Much Maglined Soward though. Didn’t play halfback until he was forced to after a Peter Wallace injury and even after he was shortly back to second fiddle when Nathan Cleary debuted then Moylan started to play 6, so I’m not too sure I’d be listening to him regarding where he thinks Brooks should play.

On that basis, why should anyone listen to Trent Robinson. That bum only played 4 first grade games.

I understand what you are saying, but your taking me out of context, it more that Soward went though the same criticism all through his career and was adamant he had something to offer.
Bit pot calling the kettle black.

Off topic but I cant stand listening to Brett Finch now. Finch was a good football player, had some great years, had some gaps as well but was a very good player that help his teams to GF's. He also has some good RL knowledge.

The reason I cant stand to listen to him now is he has created this whole "persona" for the media that he was rubbish and mistake riddled and did nothing good. Its nauseating for mine and they are all running with it. I understand having some humility and admiting weaknesses but his "I was crap" thing is OTT and puts me off.

EDIT: Had a brain fade and mixed Soward up with Brett Finch. Fixed it but if you are wondering why we are all of a sudden talking about Brett Finch...
