Loyal.
Good personality trait.

Hahahahaha.

Literally laughing whilst noting that the overpowering irony in a thread that has become little more than bashing probably our most loyal player smacked me in the face as I read it.

For 850k a year, anyone would be loyal to the ones paying the cheque.

Which is again where the issue lies.

Brooks is no worse than Packer or Mbye.
Getting paid a fortune and dishing up abysmal performances.

Okay, so he isn't loyal to a cheque and having it in his blood is a poor trait. On that note, I will leave you with the two or three word slogan writers and those upvoting them to bask in the glory of attacking a young man playing for the club he loves.

I truly hope such were not amongst those that stooped so low in attacking him directly on social media to the point that he can no longer enjoy interacting with those others that share his love for this club.

If you love something, let you go...
??

Nice post though, very admirable.

I doubt any of our respectable forum members are partaking in the social media bullying you mention.

Brooks has had his time behind the wheel and it looks like he's afforded 2 more years on his contract.

Hoping he can reach a higher level than the past 10 years with the club he loves.

Also happy for him to take up a deal elsewhere and try and unlock his potential that he has failed to reach at the Tigers, allowing our club to find a better suited man for the job.

My advice is to look at the contributions to this thread of late and for those writing such to look in the mirror and think of how they react to similar stuff in their own lives and particularly so for any that may be parents.

Im hoping that the arrival of hastings will unleash the real Brooksie. As long as Ive watched him Ive always thought he was a running 6 . If we can get hastings to lead the side around surely that will open up Brooksie to run more and play his natural game.

And yes I agree that the attacks online about Brooksie have been way over the top. To the extent that I refuse to post on said mediums as I was getting angry and don't wanna be angry guy!!

SHOOSH
Which Wests Tigers players are blowing up deluxe about halfback Luke Brooks being named as the club’s player of the year? They all thought – and we agree – that Adam Doueihi was clearly the more deserving of the award. The judges were Michael Maguire, Adam Hartigan and Danny Stapleton. Doueihi finished eighth in the Dally M Awards with 20 points. https://t.co/A1XAckubUk

This could get interesting...it seems the Imp may be on the outer with some of his team mates.
