Just came across this on the smh website, under some stories about the olympics. Apologies if it's been posted before
Tigers eye options
The chances of Luke Lewis joining good friend Robbie Farah at Wests Tigers are improving, with Tim Sheens preparing to let a number of players go, including former Eel Joel Reddy, to accommodate the Penrith, Blues and Australian back-rower. Club stalwart Liam Fulton, off-contract this year, could also be forced to make way for Lewis, who, like Fulton, is just as capable in the halves and centres as he is in the back row. With the salary cap now expected to be as high as $5 million for next year and beyond, the likely departures of Fulton and Reddy among others will free up enough money for Sheens to retain off-contract star Farah and secure the services of Lewis. But what that means for off-contract forwards Keith Galloway and Chris Heighington is anyone's guess. All of a sudden, the Tigers have a plethora of forwards options with Braith Anasta, Eddy Pettybourne, Bodene Thompson and possibly Lewis joining Adam Blair, Fulton, Galloway, Heighington Aaron Woods, and Junior Moors among others. Now, I'm no scientist, but there's not enough room to accommodate all of those players. .
