Sheensie loves Luke Lewis and we already sounded him out last year for the Heighno/Ryan swap. If he is released I would think we would make a play, depends how much $$$ we have left.
 
Surely with Lote gone (I expect) and Ellis leaving we can afford Lewis.
What concerns me the mostat the moment though is will he play out of his skin on the weekend? Gees I hope not.
Lewis better not be a Blair excitement, followed by let down signing if he comes here.

He would be great in deffence foir us and even attack release heighno, lote, utai for him we have heaps in or juniors, COME ON LUKE!!
 
I do recall myself meeting Lewis at an Origin 2 promotion day in 2011\. Had a chat and went something like this:

Me: 'Mate, when are you going to swap cats'.
LL: 'What do you mean?'
Me: 'Come and join my team' *shows Wests Tigers jersey*
LL: *chuckles* will see… might happen

Lewis is perhaps the number one player I would buy!

Luke Lewis , do we really think we can get a player who can play wing , centre , fullback , lock , second row and five eight , it would be nice and he looks like a real club man , a change for him would be brilliant oh ,and us
 
Would be a great buy but after years at Penrith and probably his last contract he will be looking at a team that has a real chance at some silver ware and I would imagine the Dogs would be his first choice. They do not usually miss their man. In saying that a team like Parra might throw a squillion at him and its not that far from home. I did notice his manager is Greg Willett the same as Anasta so we are not without a chance but really cant see it happening

I totally agree , he would be an awsome addition , but seriously we are dreaming! He won't be leaving the riff .

Gould has lost his marbles, one of the best all round back rowers in the world, PERFECT replacement for ellis. Heighno, lote would spare enough cash plus humble and reddy. Farah plus benji plus lewis, I'm dreamin!

We have more than Sheens and farah up our sleeve to nab lewis we also have Georgallis, his old coach, lewis was the leader in the pack telling penrith to keep him so i for 1 hope we sign the bloke

Very good point! Gee I hope this comes off. Got more than my fingers and toes crossed for this one (also have a massive reality check in my back pocket just in case).

Just hope if by miracle it does come off and the deal does include letting rhino go that our fans (who seem to be declaring themselves happy for this to happen) don't turn on the club down the track for "forcing out a club champion" or similar. It's a business and there needs to be give and take

Lewis is champion - pretty sure we wouldn't have chased Anasta and the other backrowers if we knew we had a shot at getting him.
