I'm a fan of Luke's but I don't think he's what we need.

We are in need of another quality prop and one or two speedy outside backs imo.

Ummm, agree and disagree. We do need speedy outside backs; but a classy, fast, athletic, experienced, ball handling second rower with incredible utility value is exactly what we need. I would take Lewis over any winger or prop.

I dunno. I reckon we are way light in the back row without Ellis. Our starting three aren't really convincing. Fulton is alright, Blair is useless and Heighington is past it. Lewis is useful for sure.

Wing and fullback are two positions he will never play again unless there is a disaster run of injuries, fullback I have never even seen him play, please!

Lewis is one of just a few who could replace ellis,but weve probably spent Ellis $$ on those two reserve graders from Titans & Bunnies,plus Anasta

If Lewis does go (I'm still not convinced), I bet he will end up somewhere that has those awesome salary cap accountants. You know, Roosters, Rabbitohs, Bulldogs, Manly etc.

Lewis is extremely keen on a media career after footy. My bet is that he will end up where all the Hob knobs and media types are seen constantly, South Sydney.

Moors, Cashmere and Bell. Tongue in cheek, those buys were clearly to replace Ellis why we wait for the youngsters to develop, Santi, Lovett, Vela, Fotuaki, Groat and possibly young Sirro will all come into the NRL pack in the next

yup.. play EVERYONE in the backrow, who needs props?

no doubt lewis is a class backrower and the ideal person to replace ellis, but already we have too many backrowers.. we need a halfback and a couple of props.. spend lote/heighno's money on a halfback

not to mention we still have fringe first graders in moors

outside backs and backrow is something we don't lack talent in, nor depth

Me too…..but can we be overflowing with depth in the backrow.....just creates an unbalance squad, more players playing out of position much like this highly frustrating season
