Lulia vs Koroibete

Lulia got the points this weekend. Looks better on the wing than in the centres. Should be picked on the wing next week, don't think we lost to much not having Koro.

The old war horse was great on the wing. Credit where it was due. Was safe, well positioned and finished very well. He should stay on the wing, because he has been borderline awful in the centres.

It would be nice to bring in a specialist centre for Lawrence, however it looks like the stocks are low. Maybe Sirro could do a job there, however im pretty loath to play players out of position, especially, when its forwards going into the outside backs.

You're not really going to compare Lulia and Koro are you? Two very different players. Koro is a strike weapon, that can score from anywhere on the field and is a definite game changer. Lulia dived over in the corner 4 times, but yes 2 of the finishes were very good. We make a break at halfway with Lulia on the end of it he'll maybe score 1/10\. He doesn't have any pace. We make a break at halfway with Koro and he'll score 8-9/10 of them.

Lulia had a great game but he's got to back that up with a large number of very solid performances before he comes close to be considered a decent winger.

Can't believe people are praising Lulia over 1 game..

How easily people have forgotten the poor performances & lack of involvement in previous games..
Koro on 1 leg is more effective then Lulia.

Koro had also had poor performances in first grade. Unlike Lulia he is weak under the high ball and has very questionable defence, Wests Tigers on their defensive record could not another afford another defensive liability. Lulia on the wing will do me.

At what - certainly not defence.

Yeah 9 times out of 10 he will score - 9 times out of 10 he'll let them in as well.

Give me Keith, the equal record holder for most tries in a game anytime.

Jeez if only we'd had some sort of…. ya know... coaching system...or something..... in place that worked on the....ummm... development.... of talented young players. Mayyybeeee that's what a few of the chaps were on about when they said that Potter was not so good with, ya know...."Coaching" and "Communicating" with young players.

Yeah Marika had three seasons in and out of the top squad, and was coached by Sheens, Payten and Potter. The same guys had no trouble teaching Tedesco, Rowe, Nofolauma, Moltzen Ryan, Simona and Moses how to position for and catch a high ball.

Oh snap.

P.S. Wicked avatar mate.

I think the answer is pretty simple, Bellyache could not get his hands on Koro quick enough, I doubt he would have shown any interest in Keith.

Keith is a very handy man to have around the club, plays most position, but you can not coach power and speed and Koro had both. When this side matures in a year or two having Koro on the wing might have made the difference.

Anyway Iam sure their is more to it than meets the eye with Koro's departure, you just dont let raw talent walk out the door

How people's views change in a week. This truely is a three minute noodle kinda forum, but I love it. Hopefully it won't change again next week.

Actually, it reads like you are describing exactly what Koro needs to do.

At least Lulia sorts out his visa when necessary, whilst also turning up for training on time and in suitable condition.

I'm glad Lulia had a good day out

Hope I'm wrong , but wondering if he will score four more tries in the rest of his stay at the Tigers

And as far Koroibete goes , I hope he is ready to be bombed to oblivion

They will be able to nickname him Hanoi after the Tigers game because he will be bombed all night

Wow… Ken Irvines record could be in danger if Keith keeps this up...

Comparing the two is just as silly...

Plenty of coaches have had a go at Koro, as has been said. Hopeless under the high ball.

More importantly - you can teach a player to tackle but you can't teach someone to read the play that does not have the ability.

Of course, everybody's wrong because Bellamy wants him.
