Absolutely, however if he signs with Souths for 2021 what will Easts do? Have him sulk around the joint for 12 months? Actually I hope they do, would be great to see (I dont actually hope this as I hope we sign him, but you know what I mean)

Roosters have said they won't release him to Souths for 2020. if you believe them then he can only join in 2021.

The Roosters really do hate Souths though, and Mitchell in that backline would make Souths real premiership threats (whereas Roosters wouldn't really think of us as threats at all, even with Mitchell).
