Mad Monday Allegations

just awesome!! never a quiet day in Tiger town, ive said it before the way Benji carried on at the end of the year was very immature and very disappointing considering what the club did for him

I have said it all along, I was against getting him back in 2018, I was horrified it extended past a 1 year swan song, Benji is all about Benji, always has been.
His words and his actions are in complete contrast to one another, I am grateful for what he achieved, and what he done from 2004 to 2011 for the club, after that, not so much.

Anyone hear what was said on WestsLife Podcast about what allegedly happened on Mad Monday?

For those who didn't it seems Benji, Packer and either Aloiai or Reynolds were causing division over whether to get behind Madge or not and went to Pascoe to ask to get him fired. Then on mad Monday a bunch of guys Madge had signed (and a few others) got so heated over the issue that they went outside and almost had a blue.

Seems that the players who have our coach's back really have his back and those who don't really don't. A "house divided against itself cannot stand".

So we had 4 players who where not happy 3 are gone and not long before the 4th is gone. The club will be much better off without those 4 white ants

Not 4 it was three. He didn't specifically state who they were but dropped hints. First one was 100% Benji, 99% sure the other was packer and I think the last one was Reynold but might have been Aloiai

I would more think Aloiai, especially after his exit strategy

No surprise at all here.

No surprise benji is included also.

he may be out the door but it appears the negativety towards the coach might have infiltrated some of the remaining squad.

Based on the performance of Maguire to date, that negativity is justified.

Thanks for the clarification

I just thought the comment was interesting because it really makes a lot of things much more clear. It also gives me confidence because the same guy had Shawn Blore on the week before and he absolutely loves Madge and if he (I presume) and others were gonna fight Benji, Packer etc. to defend Madge, then that reveals how bought in him and others are

I would really like to see some of this buying into the coach this week, it sure as hell wasn't there last week, it was like they just finished mad monday before they ran out last week

Maguire has won more premierships than Benji, Packer, Reynolds and Aloiai combined.

I cannot recall any of those players coaching NRL Teams.

What was the grievance process at WTs?

Based on the performance of Luke Brooks the negativity is also justified.

But go on picking and choosing who you stick up for.

I reckon Reynolds - his mate is on here regularly calling for Maguire's exit.

If true and there has been quite a lot of these types of stories around so hard not to believe - Where there smoke there is fire..

This kind of stuff would make it hard to bring a playing group together so once Packer is gone fingers crossed we will be right.

Madge guys and not Madge guys. I can see it on the field tbh. Some of the players are downright unfriendly to each other tbh.

What has Brooks got to do with it?

I'd back Marshall for everything he has achieved with WTs and also how every kid at the time wanted the Marshall step. I will always have fond memories of Marshall.

You stick up for Brooks on every occasion, yet he has also struggled.

Sorry i dont have much time for fan boys.

As ive stated the Brooks negativity is also justified.

We do look disjointed this year, despite what looks like a better squad.

What's with players who come to the tigers thinking they can decide who's the coach?

Obviously Robbie and Benji been in there ears.... glad it doesn't work that way anymore. Certainly hasn't got us results over the years
