No surprise at all here.

No surprise benji is included also.

he may be out the door but it appears the negativety towards the coach might have infiltrated some of the remaining squad.

Based on the performance of Maguire to date, that negativity is justified.

Based on the performance of Luke Brooks the negativity is also justified.

But go on picking and choosing who you stick up for.

What has Brooks got to do with it?

I'd back Marshall for everything he has achieved with WTs and also how every kid at the time wanted the Marshall step. I will always have fond memories of Marshall.

You stick up for Brooks on every occasion, yet he has also struggled.

Sorry i dont have much time for fan boys.

As ive stated the Brooks negativity is also justified.

I wrote about Marshall. I have fond memories of Halatau,Farah, Marshall, Gibbs, Sheens, Prince and co. If that makes me a fanboy so be it.

Are you happy with Maguire's coaching? Can you honestly write the team has improved, players have improved, he has united the team, he is a good person manager?

What's with players who come to the tigers thinking they can decide who's the coach?

Obviously Robbie and Benji been in there ears.... glad it doesn't work that way anymore. Certainly hasn't got us results over the years

Players get coaches sacked all the time - it's easy you keep playing like Crap and you don't have to say a thing.

If we have a divided playing group then there really is one course of action, move the players on.
I’d much rather Wests Tigers have a full squad of players that will adjust to any coaching style than to have a bunch of players that only want to play for particular coaching styles.
Some of our resident stats man could probably answer this but what for a club is more likely to be successful?
A constant squad coached by different coaches or
A changing squad coached by the same coach.

No one does it as well as our club legends though.

Maguire has won more premierships than Benji, Packer, Reynolds and Aloiai combined.

I cannot recall any of those players coaching NRL Teams.

What was the grievance process at WTs?

Grievance process? What possible legitimate grievance can someone like Packer or Benji have?? bloke shearing sheep all day would be lucky to earn in a decade what these blokes earn in a season.

The grievance process should be: if you're not appreciative of the extremely privileged position you find yourself in, and find your ego inconvenienced by the coach's instructions, try playing for another team, or try getting another job.

To think, a week after Tommy's death, we are debating whether bludging plodders have an adequate grievance process.

Not surprised
Benji was out the door by that point the club had made it very clear that he wasn’t playing on with us. It shows how little emotional intelligence he has that he thought this would change his situation.
Packer and Madge clearly don’t see eye to eye and Packer isn’t getting much game time so why not complain
Reynolds was being moved on but had no takers and was clearly not going to see first grade
Aloiai is clearly a complete tool just look at his carry on when he wanted out of his contract.

Glad they were told to jog on.

Judging by our performances to start the season, would still be a few anti Madge players within the squad. Need to weed em out and dump em.

A grievance process is a component of the modern workforce.

Marshall was and always will be a great, not a bludging plodder.

I do find this is taken as a true story, but really it is an irrelevant story. those players are no longer here and have no influence.
But we still put in poor performances. It's almost an excuse for the club. Divided group no chance of success with that but here we are the bad eggs removed and still no success.

No I can't..

I'm already on record here saying he is a dead man walking as he has thrown his supporter behind soft players like Brooks. He will go down with the ship he created

He should have been giving thanks every day that at the age of 62, and despite repeated ingrained dumb decisions, he was still allowed to play NRL. He had no grounds for any grievance at all.

3 of them gone, one dead man walking.

Madgenificant!

Doesn’t mean , that rot isn’t there still . Mbye is there , packer is there , Garner is there , chee kam is there , Nofa is there (though I don’t think he’s anti Madge ) and finally Brooks is there .

The team is playing like a club divided , and if that went down , then for sure there would be residual effects . Which on Sunday last week , it looked like that . All it would take was 1 or 2 players to not 💯 buy in .
And if it is Brooks , then see you later champ . And I’m staunch pro brooks .

Buy in you bozos . You know what didn’t work , anything prior to Madge getting here . We know because we didn’t win . So if he’s saying do something Different , bloody well do it , and most importantly believe in it .

This is why I’m not a believer in The Benji is a good role model narrative . Because this is the second time he’s white anted at the club , and let his ego talk. Losing him , and anyone who bought into his bull crap , is the best thing that could have happened . It may not seem it , but we are still suffering from the Tim sheens boys club all these years later . It’s unbelievable really !

Anyone hear what was said on WestsLife Podcast about what allegedly happened on Mad Monday?

For those who didn't it seems Benji, Packer and either Aloiai or Reynolds were causing division over whether to get behind Madge or not and went to Pascoe to ask to get him fired. Then on mad Monday a bunch of guys Madge had signed (and a few others) got so heated over the issue that they went outside and almost had a blue.

Seems that the players who have our coach's back really have his back and those who don't really don't. A "house divided against itself cannot stand".

Why am not surprised Benji's name is in there...... So glad the little white ant isn't at the club anymore.
Bet he is licking his lips Reynolds may be moving on too More limelight for his ego

Club legend apparently.

How did you get down voted for this ? The guys done nothing but be a cancer for us , either directly , or indirectly eg. Nrl360 for many years now , at some point the good , gets over taken .

ALSO, this story apparently came from a player.
That player told the podcast host's mate about it.

So we have a leak?

You'd think an approach to Pascoe would also be treated as confidential.
