Let’s face it, there’s nothing Tamou has done since he’s been here that hasn’t been ordinary. His cheerleading of the Panthers last year was up there with Woods behaviour when he was on his way out the door.

Laurie is in the same boat as fad as I'm concerned.
Rather support some Yamba local league than watch his team mates play.
All the roosters first graders were in polos, supporting the lads.
Two guys who'd rather be hi fiving the clearys and begging for BBQ invites than being in the trenches with the Tigers.

A very uninspiring captain. Got to get someone in that role who will at least inspire, motivate and show some passion. Problem is we have bugger all players of that ilk.
Give the captaincy to Hastings until Douiehi comes back. They are the only 2 that fit the mould.

I imagine Hastings and/or Doueihi will be captain. No point Tamou taking the role when he is out the door at seasons end...
Who knows with this club....
Probably likely to give it to Offa.
Some serious mind boggling moves by the club in recent years.
Most level headed coach with practical ideas was old mate Potter.

It’s not the time to give the job to Doueihi. He has enough on his plate coming back from a serious injury. And Hastings needs to establish himself. Just give the job to Twal.
Look outside the square...maybe,just maybe MADGE has made a big change for this year.....The players "ATTITUDES''....they will be made more accountable for the poor hang the head performances which we seen so much of last year...
They really need to produce NRL standard performances or the whole squad and club will need another broom through it.....how many bloody times do we have to keep doing and saying that before we have real professionalism in this joint...
Trouble is that if our depth is what was on show last night,then no wonder the NRL side dont have a worry about being dropped....

Agree Doueihi needs to get back on the park and cement an actual position before getting the added pressure of being captain. Add to it half the season will be gone & if we don't do well then the club will be in absolute heat & turmoil. AD doesn't need to be dealing with that.
Hastings is interesting choice, but geez it would put the spotlight onto him big time coming back to the NRL before playing a game & being put into the captain gig. He though wouldn't probably care about the outside noise though and would kick the team up the backside.
Twal in the forwards is the only real obvious one but can't see Madge starting with him over Tamou/Stefano/Peach. Joffa could be another but again same situation as Twal.
That really leaves us with Brooks, Nofo or Tamou.
Not a great selection pool to pull from at the moment.
Maybe giving it to Nofo would see his game lift another level.
If I had to pick one it would be Hastings and then a name out of the hat.

Part of me would love this to happen though. Might force Brooks to take a big step change.

Yeh (C)s choose themselves....but even last year there was no one, Tamou walking into the job didnt sit well with me but there was little other option

I think he is the best option. I don't think Tamou is that bad but he isn't a sure pick in our team. I wouldn't pick him in the top team. I reckon we have too many middle forwards better than him.

Yet Tamou got the gig no questions asked and has shown his true colours multiple times.
He tried to look tough for the camera last night before kick off and put all the gear on for the interview but he's a clearly not interested.
One more year and that's the last of him.

Twal, Nofo or Brooks. Take your pick. You can understand why Madge choose Mbye and Tamou but they were bad decisions.
