Maguire relieved the pressure off his back with the 2 wins, then he goes and puts Walters in at 5/8 when he isnt match fit after almost 12 months off with injury. A mystifying selection where Doueihi was there and was familiar with the plays, players and greater feel for what is going on. He is really that against Doueihi at 5/8 he would rather what happened than shift the backline line up? Which was easier and which more crucial? I dont think he did himself any favours yet again.

I wonder why he did it?

I think it is fairly clear he doesn't see Doueihi as a 6.

My point was, there could have been a few reasons why it happened, we don’t know?

Morris doesn't have the experience we need and Flanagan is a cheat that I don't want anywhere near our players. Was disgusted by the fact he was commentating yesterday, he shouldn't be given an opportunity to make money from the game.

Experience is not working for WTs. Maguire has taken WTs backwards. He has failed to adapt his coaching to the game today. Perhaps a youthful coach with 2 and a bit full seasons behind him is what we need, with Sheens providing input as required.

I think it could maybe work for Morris with assistance from Sheens, the issue I have with an inexperienced coach working at the Tigers is it is the toughest job in the NRL and not just on the field.

I can’t see Madge being asked to leave, not until at least his contract is finished?

But change takes time, (maybe longer than we all wanted) but we have new players coming (and going), I don’t think anybody thinks the team is complete, (I think we have the nucleus) but there are a few players who need to have a look at themselves, hopefully it’s remembered at contract review time.

We have been this way for 10 seasons, changing coaches isn’t working either.

I am happy with the clubs new salary management but elite players won’t come here for nothing.

agree Mmbye is the perfect link man compared to Douhie, I like Douhie at centre

He will not be Hastings or maybe Brooks or Brooks leaves ...Douhie is not a centre either so there's the rub.
