Just want to know what amazing work Hartigan has carried out since he has been with the club?

How can you bag Hartigan, who’s been responsible for the pathways and identification of talent (Laurie, Stef etc) and then strongly defend Madge who has achieved nothing other than make a bad team much much worse?

And you know for sure Maguire had nothing at all to do with them?

I judge Madge on his coaching given he’s the coach.

So we should judge Madge on the coaching and Hartigan on recruitment?

Fair enough, isn’t that going to be Sheens job? I just think Madge and Hartigan are both involved in recruitment so surely he gets some of the blame when we can’t recruit the right players

The Flegg side is where it is on the players Hartigan brought to the club, the most promising players in 1st grade, are players Hartigan has brought to the club. The salary cap is in good shape due to Hartigan.

So you’re not a fan of Hartigan hey Cochise?

Yeah I am, he is crucial for the club moving forward but am not confident he will be here much longer.

I have no idea how a proper review could sack Hartigan and keep Madge, it makes no sense at all, if Hartigan is sacked then Madge has to be gone as well surely

Sacking Sheens was the right decision imo.

So how do you feel about bringing him back?

I thought at the time it was the right decision to move him on, I would have him as coach next year working with an up and coming coach to take over in the next 2 years.

That’s hindsight for you because sacking him clearly was a mistake.

No not really, what is right for an organisation at one point in time may not be the same thing 10 years later.

I don't how you can argue the club knew what they were doing. Potter didn't actually have a say in anything under Grant Mayer. Then Jason Taylor happened, them Ivan now madge. Enough said.

Never said we were successful, I am a fan of Sheens. Just because things didn't get better does not mean the decision to relieve Sheens was wrong. It means the decision to appoint is replacement was wrong.
