yeah thats me. I get a bit outspoken on there. Like an opinion writer from some scummy newspaper, except I use knowledge and experience instead of pulling crap from my arse to slander the game.

When I read you name instead of reading it as Mad Unit, for some reason I keep reading it as Ma dunit. I'm not sure why but I am really interested to know what she has done..

lol I don't mind him, he's usually got a good alternate opinion to my own, even if I don't agree with it.

That was until last week when he started demanding people grow penises. A rather amusing insight into his mind lol

If I remember correctly he was a mad Moltzen fan

Yes indeed.

But a mad 'Moltzen is a good fullback' fan and "Benji is better at halfback" fan.

Unit if he played like he did for the last 8 weeks you might accept it , but he never does consistantly

Please keep the discussion about members who have been banned from this forum, away from this forum thanks guys. We have enough problems with serial pests returning and furthering their own agendas.

hehehe,

the first forum was a pretty small community.
Zoot, MarysGarden, Innsaneink, Snide, Smeg, Sincas, TigerPete, westie, SuzieQ, RifRaf among others.

Hey madunit, how do you find living down in Melbourne, especially being a rugby league fan? I don't think I could cope…

Yeah Juro, I lived there for a couple of years in the late 90's and it was tough! No league coverage at all then. Thank goodness for the old sports bar at Crown otherwise I would have received no coverage at all.

Then, when the tigers finally played the storm at Colonial stadium we were flogged 66-0\. Was glad to head back north.

Hey Madunit, why did you leave Newcastle - it is like Sydney but without all the people!

The climate is very similar to where I grew up in the Snowy Mountains region of NSW, so that much I love.

Until this year, the coverage of the game was abysmal. The only time Rugby League made the news here was when there was a controversy.

last year, origin 2 was delayed by 2 hours to allow for the last episode of Hey hey its Saturday, which was revealed the weekend before it would be getting axed due to poor ratings.

Yet they still show a poor rating show ahead of State of origin.

Got Foxtel now, channel 9 can go and get.

The people seem a lot more relaxed here than in Sydney or Brisbane in my experience. There is a bit of a snobbish yuppy attitude among Melbourne people, but you can usually see past that if you don't talk about 'footy'

I went to Newcastle to study Journalism. Once I completed the course I went looking for work in that industry, found a gig in Sutherland and took it, it was a part time thing, so I took on another part time job.

Journalism gig started to annoy me with the lack of thorough research being done, and I got offered a good management gig at the Roosters leagues club, they paid overs for me and so I said yes.
