Magpies vs Balmain - Campbelltown - SAT 3pm

. Needs more match fitness and improved timing before he's given a go.

Thats the key with Taumata. He needs time and also time to blend with the State Cup squad. His game will continue to suffer if he spends more time with firsts than with the guys he will play with for at least the next few weeks

You know what's wrong with the new Campbelltown Stadium upgrades.

They give the AWAY team a quality facility. It should look more like this…

 Taumata virtually played his way into a Wests Tigers jumper based on todays performance…..thanks that's all I needed to hear...

Oh so you don't think poor passing, selfish kicking, selfish running, dud kicks in general play ALL fit the criteria to play under Manbags?? You obviously don't know Sheensie too well then do you..
As for Lazarus going missing…he wasn't missing in the 78th minute...

In regards to Taumata, do you mean the passes he threw that hit the ground or the one that went 2 metres forward i the second half, or the kicking game that was even worse than Benji's? Taumata did a couple of good things in the backend of the game CT, but for the most part he was ordinary, and I was really keen to see what he offered. Needs more match fitness and improved timing before he's given a go.

Umm… that's exactly what i mean..
EVERYTHING Sheens looks for in a player to get a first grade gig..
As i said before, Benji's jersey is being threatened now with that 8m forward pass..

Smeg…cohesion with teammates has nothing to do with passes along the ground, passes into touch, passes 8 m forward, kicks that go straight to the opposition or flying over the deadball line...

Perhaps C_t is right ....built for FG.....

I will give him this the try he scored was great footwork and pace...took advantage of lazy defence of Fifita and Corby...

C_t of all the games I've seen Lazzo played this year that was his most quiet....still your right he was there at the end to score the match winner....had work to do as well....

Forever the comedian, albeit not a very good one. I much prefer it when you give a critical analysis of the game and players CT. For the record, I don't think Taumata will get a look in just yet.

Now we can have this type of halves playmaking on BOTH sides of the ruck!! Manbags will soil himself over this prospect!!

Sheens will play Benji as a front row prop before he ever considers dropping him.

Yeah was also great to see a local junior Harrison once again have a blinder last night in his rightful position as a 2nd rower. Glad he was dumped from his club because he couldn't cut is as a front row prop forward..

I do feel sorry for Harrison in that respect, he really has shown what he is capable of when played in the right position.

Sheens is a coach that tries to get all his favourite players on the field at once. Even if that means playing 80% of the side out of position. The reason we won in 2005 was that we didn't have too many injuries, so his favourite players got to play in their actual positions.

And no surprises Te'o is killing it back as a centre either..

Seriously, todays game was more fun to watch than the Wests Tigers game vs the Roosters. Something about NSW Cup footy that makes it quite enjoyable to watch.

Yeah its not as fast, or strong and yes they don't have the same fitness levels but it has a rawness that reminds me of how footy used to be played.
