Maguire Signs Until End of 2023

I would be locking Madge in ASAP... He has done a remarkable job with the squad he got and the changes her has made to date are second to none..
We don't want a big club to offer him a big deal he cannot refuse as we will have to start again and hope a inexperience coach can do the job..
E.g - A lot of people were complaining when he let Marsters go and that turned out great. Coach does not over pay for players that don't deserve it. Let Thompson and he was a fan fav but he is like 30 years old and small and by the looks of it he has replaced him with a excellent young guy with size..
If we had a few calls go our way and won 2-3 more games we would be in the top 4... yes top 4 with the team we have. Imagine when he gets the team he wants and has a full salary cap to work with (including the Non Farah job) ..

Lock Madge Away immediately.

No other coach has made the vital changes that we need as a club to make us a wining club since 2000.

I'd sign him up based on the changes he has made.

Anyone who suggests that finals series is the only measure of success simply isn't realistic. No new coach, hamstrung by so many overpaid, long winded contracts and with so many ageing, under performing old timers is ever going to turn the ship around in the short term. You can yell and scream all you like, but either you buy a bunch of stars with a handy bundle of salary cap cash or you wait out the contracts that are in place and incrementally alter the list player by player from the ground up - preferably bringing in high performing youth from within your own club and also from the fringes of other high performing clubs where they can't quite get a crack. Doing this however takes patience. I gotta say, I love the way Madge is going about things. Changing again at this point means we start again with another bloke at the helm making more changes, we wait longer for a different vision to transpire and potentially go through the whole process once more. Thankfully we went with Madge over Bennett the worn out old fool.

I would extend Madge till 2023. You would hope by then we have been in a couple of finals series. If we don't then you would move him on.

He has got more from someone else squad than they got and moved to a team who is leading the comp.

Over the next 2yrs he will start to craft the squad be wants.

I would extend him to 2023 with a performance extension option in the clubs favor for another 2yrs.

When you haven’t been in the finals for so long it becomes the primary KPI. Totally understandable. Sorry but I am totally out of patience, however no thought about changing the coach. I think he is on the right track to deliver the results, if not this year (doubtful) then next year.

Almost nobody of note was available for him to purchase and if those, none would come because our club has a reputation that no valuable player wants to become involved with. So he can't wave a magic wand to make his bunch of his at best average players to very, very average players make the finals. It's fanciful to expect success to somehow just materialise without a decent roster. So, if you don't have one & can't buy one then you can only build one. Building one takes more than a couple of years. Especially if you're building one with young guys.

His recruiting is the best we may have had as a head coach of the Wests Tigers so for me its a no brainer.

Who you going to get to recruit and build this club if not him.

So much better than the muppets, the numpties and father of so and so's that have come before.

We won't make it this year...not with our backline.

But he is building superbly going forward. Madge can't be judged on what went before him.

Def the coach we have needed. Lock him up? Yes, as someone else will if we don't.

I agree that is the best solution. It provides the chance for Madge to shape his squad (he basically has Ivan’s) while avoiding a five Year Seibold type disaster. Importantly, targeted players know who is going to coach them and there is stability.

But if he can’t get the team to perform in this time, he should be moved on.

Watching NRL 360 they were saying Seibold would be gone after this season and who ever came in would have have to be a heavy hitter to change the place beside Craig Bellamy who else would fit the bill in the NRL and would take great pleasure in coming in and cleaning up Seibolds mess and would be a long term option for the Broncs this is why Madge should be extended NOW he is turning WT'S around whilst we all hope for a good result this year I can see it being further down the track the way the team is building at present and with the clearance of dead wood and with the COE coming to fruition WT'S could be anything over the next few season

They conveniently forgot to mention that their co host is tipped to take on the CEO role and appoint Paul Green as Head Coach...

So MaGuire who is contracted for 2021 and Seibold will be gone in 2021 and MaGuire will take over...Is that what they said..

If so see ya...

Somehow I can't class Paul Green as a Heavy Hitter as a Coach and someone who can change culture but hey if they go with him good luck he had a good gig at the Cowboys but having one JT playing for you is a big head start and on departure of JT it been downhill all the way.
It was interesting cryptic comment on Cammy that his last game may not necessarily be with the Storm.Maybe Cammy and Bellyache may be reborn at the Broncs both Queensland's where would you rather retire Melbourne or Brisbane```

No that wasn't said what they said was whoever came in would have to be a heavy hitter and be able to change the Broncos the only coaches that fill that bill as I see it are Bellyache and Madge

Both are contracted for next year though..so Donks would have to plan a gap year..should go down well..
