It is pretty hard to make an effort when your hands have been tied...it appears the ties have come off and Madge is doing his very best for the team and club...

I have enjoyed the banter mate,it gives me a laugh when its needed most....but lets get back to your earlier post and my reply about Madge hasnt earned an extention yet....do we just crucify a guy who has been hog tied with the salary cap,had a very ordinary roster and players on big money sidelined due to injuries.?or do we give him the chance to change the culture,roster and perception of the club with good recruitment and positive attitude to make this team and club a much more desirable destination..?
I honestly think he deserves the chance to harden this joint up and show them what it takes to make the finals,hard work and good work ethics...he has my vote of approval for another 2 years...it would only be fair...
Results are his biggest ally ....gets us to the 8 and we will extend you ...if not you have failed again

Personally feel it's warranted using poor roster as an excuse. Its taken him 2yrs to clean up Ivan's mess and he's still not finished. I feel next season is fair to begin judgement as the team for 2021 is largely made up of players Madge has brought in or retained. Tigers missed the 8 by one win in 2019 with a pretty bang average roster and 3 wins this season with one on par.
Top 8 is close, really close and not much more than winning a few of the close ones we tend to lose and cleaning up the losses against bottom teams and Tigers make the 8 easily. Some really handy recruitment so far will certainly help.
Madge is a high quality coach who achieves success. Turned Souths from easy beats into premiership winners within a few years. No reason why he can't do the same with Tigers.
