Cant see Walters being intimidated by Benji and Brooks. Comes from rugby league stock and would know his role more than most in the team.

Sometimes people look at it too hard.

Not intimidated but might feel more obliged to give them the ball straight off the ground considering they’re the starting halves and it’s a more ‘proper’ trial game

Easy as pie - Mate, give the halves super quick service from the PTB 90% of the time, especially if they demand it.

If you don't you will be playing cc.

How hard can it be?

Oh and Walters who was good . A real crisp pass off the deck , in both directions . Reynolds looks like u7s learning to pass the ball . It’s real strange how he got to 30 not knowing how to pass the ball .

Whats even stranger is how he is still in the NRL @ 30 and earning marquee salary

It shouldn’t be that strange? Happens all the time. Coach goes to new club, often back to coach his old team, signs a player or two on big money before he goes. Broncos with Bennett and Boyd. Bulldogs with Hasler and Foran. Knights with half the team.

I agree , I was commenting on the skill of passing off the deck . His overall talent is not really up for debate . He totally can influence games just by his sheer will . But I feel like , with the evolution of the game , that’s no longer enough . It’s bizarre watching it happen like I said . 3-4 years ago he was a world beater , and apart from injury I don’t see any regression to be honest . It’s just around Him , as in the comp , the talent is so much better. Like I said it was the same for Blake Austin. Was offered 650k at the start of the season , and basically didn’t have a job by the end. I don’t think that was all regression or form drop .

He must have double-jointed elbows and shoulders, very awkward. Less awkward when he's running about, very awkward when he's bending down for the footy.

It’s weird aye . It’s probably what the knock was on him coming through , hence the kamikaze style and chip he carries . Good on him . Great career , and I think he would win man of steel in England , as it’s more open to players like him dominating . It’s just so god damn tough to break down if you don’t have a passing game in the NRL. Look at Thommo . Honestly he is a gun ?. He would have played for Aus/qld in eras gone by , but because he doesn’t have a passing game and isn’t 190cm , 100kg he’s barely first grade . It’s just weird to notice the change . Makes me feel old lol

Bellamy when asked how he chose players to recruit, replied.. he looks for size first then the ability to run hard, then the football skills. It makes sense when you think about it simplistically that way. I think those changes are a result of rule changes designed to remove the brutality. Players dominated the game in a combatant way previously. At 173cm and 75kg our games greatest try scoring winger Ken Irvine, would be overlooked by many current WT fans.?

Strongee I will need to check with Jeditiger on that, but I felt sure obi wan did say something like.. the force will always be with you.
Are you saying Reynolds has been cleansed of the force?

Lol Nah , he’d be more like an untrained padawan who just destroys everything cause he can’t control the chaos .
I think Hasler had him convert to the dark side for a long while there ... and now he’s a bit lost .
