Mahe Fonua

You would have to assume that Kevin would be the one pushed out if he came this year. So our 3/4 line would be Nofoaluma, Suli, MWZ, Fonua. Definitely going for power over speed

We are strongly linked with John Folau as a replacement for Fonua. I know he is at the Eels, but seen as though you are pinching our player, I thought I would ask what he is like on here

Israels brother and only 22, hasn't got much FG time but scoring 4 tries in 8 games is impressive.

He is a big body and the potential is there

No thanks - no thanks in regard to the brother as well for me.

Wildie is from England and follows the club we are getting Fonua from. He is talking about his ESL club being linked to John Folau not WT

Fox sports has Fonua listed as already signed with the Tigers until 2019\. They've listed all the current confirmed player movements for each team so far (off contract, re-signed and newly signed) and Fonua is listed as signed. Not saying their reliability is 100% though.

His first couple of games were impressive, scoring a double against the Rabbitohs, but he hasn't been seen much in first grade since. He's currently stuck in the Eels reserve grade team. He's a big bloke though, listed as 193cm and 111kg. And being over in the ESL as well, he could be anything.

Well, looks like Fox have jumped the gun then…. or know something we do know....

Nothing official yet, so il believe it once the club announces it

not sold on fonua, rekon hes too slow for a winger and his defence isn't up to scratch, should probably go for fergo or rona
