I seem to remember Mahe being a right side winger at the Storm.

Pretty sure he played on the left when he took an intercept and outsprinted Barba in his highlights package.

Is he though only a right side winger ? We have Nofo there. I hope one of them can play on the other side.

I think the best way to go about this Earl is - Let's see if Fonua is in Cleary's plans to play on the wing in the NRL and indeed if he is good enough to play on the wing in 2018.

Guess the off season will hold the answers.

We have so many new players next year and there are a lot of unknowns in relation to how the team is going to look.

Yep thats how i remember him, steamrolling the right side.

I watched the Challenge Cup Final. Fonua scored 2 and had one disallowed. He also leapt high to defuse a kick. He's an upgrade on Nofo and MWZ

I think we will have one of the gruntiest backlines in the comp.
A lot of low end torque there. It's like we are making a switch to diesel and big 4x4 tyres to go over them rather than around them.

He's certainly a tough little nugget, hard to stop! Looks like he has lots of personality and passion about him as well, will become a crowd favourite I reckon.

So where does he play. It's only highlights but to me he looks like a walk up first grade player.

Seems like most just watch our game. Early but I'd say Nofo and Fonua will be our wingers R1 next season.

I would say you are right, but they both play on the right, one of them will have a preseason learning the left, Nofo is struggling to read defence on the right, maybe he would do it better on the left.
