Cronk would be worth every cent the club could put together on many fronts ..corporate … memberships ..and the team in general ,this will probable not happen but he is exactly what this club needs ATM! Watching the current 7 having no idea how to run a side around is painful to say the least .
 
Cronk wouldn't tarnish his reputation coming here …
Besides he'd be useless behind our pack ... Even with Packer and Matalino..

I wonder what next years primary school Motto will be ?

Yes. I doubt we'll get him as a player but in this role he would be a significant advantage. No one has taught Brooks how to play first grade halfback properly. Cronk would be great and im still fairly certain he'll retire after the WC.

I hear ya, I know it's always the same crap that gets dished up, but next year is the biggest overhaul we've had in quite some time so I'm not giving up hope just yet - it's almost going to be a completely different team! We definitely need a halfback though. How many chances does Brooks get to shine? I've had a gutful of waiting for him to become a first grade standard half, I'd rather have Jeff Robson!
 
Paying a million for Cronk would be a big mistake in my opinion.

I am happy to stick with Brooks - hopefully playing behind a decent pack next year.

Hopefully without Lovett!!!!
 
Doesnt Cronk already have an EXCLUSIVE contract as a consultant with the Storm if he chooses not to play. I thought this was already widely reported.
 
Tommy Raudonikis in his current state would be an improvement on Brooks ..

Realistically no Sydney clubs would have the cash to afford him without clearing the decks, which aint going to happen this late in the year. If not Cronk they need to get Johns or someone to do some sort of work with him.
